File Description: Built to AM. specification R.24/31 for a 'General Purpose Open Sea Patrol Flying Boat' using the Rolls Royce Goshawk engine. with Steam, (Evaporative), cooling system. This is just an impression of the first of only three prototypes in 1935. It never went into production. The first flight was on the 30/ 12/ 1934. Retired in 1938 as an instructional airframe.
