File Description: In January 1972 an Air Rhodesia order for three BAC 1-11-500s was cancelled at the last moment due to sanctions against the country. This postponed the airline's entry into the jet age until three Boeing B720s were purchased in April the following year from the bankrupted German charter airline Calair.
