File Description: Textures for Tom Gibson's Douglas DC-6A - repainted Manfred Meyer. You need to download and install the latest Douglas DC-6A CB-16 base pack with model, sound and panel from the website calclassic.com. These textures depict Ransas YV-C-ERG (c/n 43841), the name "Estefania" on the bow is fiktiv, because it is not readable at the only available photo. Originally delivered to American AL 1953 as N90778 "Air Freighter Chicago". From May 1960 to Nov. 1965 she served with Ransa and after then registered as N45001 with Shamrock AL's "Southern Bell", with Trans Continental AL and some other operators and owners. In 1982 this plane was seized in Colombia due to drug smuggling and pressed into Colombian Air Force as FAC-909 - withdrawn from use 1990.
