357th FG/362nd FS G4-P "U Rolla" Mustang P-51D

File Description:
P51D-20-NA 44-72489 G4-P "U Rolla" was piloted by Lt. Edward Hyman of the 362nd FS. This aircraft was part of a batch of 130 P51D's sold to the Swiss AF in 1948. Swiss AF code was J-2021. It was phased out of service on 11th April 1958 and like all others (but J-2113) scrapped. Repaint for the Shockwave WWII Mustang by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paint kit by John Terrell.

This folder contains a repaint for Warwick Carter's Excellent P-51D Mustang, representing P-51D-25-NA J-2007 (EX USAAF 44-72404) of the Swiss Air Force. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom. The repaint is by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by G.J. Smith.
