File Description: B36 Jv1.1 Peacemaker for X-Plane 6.4-6.6 - Upgraded panel but still not custom; J version with 3800 HP engines. The B36 Peacemaker was the last propeller driven bomber put into service by the US. With 6 - 3800 Hp radial engines and a gross takeoff weight of 410,000 lbs the early versions like the A and B variant were woefully underpowered. This file is the later J version with 4 - 5200 lb static thrust jet engines added. Never called into active service the B36 provided the US long range nuclear determent until the jet B52 came into service. The B36 is a huge airplane with a large payload capacity, 10000 mile range and long endurance. See the read me file for distribution and copyright information.
