File Description: In March 1946 the first of six brand new Douglas DC-4-1009's for South African Airways arrived and entered service, replacing the AVRO York on the "Springbok" route from Johannesburg to London. After the arrival of the Constellation the DC-4's continued on the domestic and regional services. In 1967 the five remaining DC-4's were passed on to the South African Air Force where they flew till the early 1990's. ZS-AUB was one of them. In December 1995 she was sold to South African Airways for use by the South African Historic Flight. She received the "orange tail" livery in 1998. This repaint is basically a modification of Jens B. Kristensen's original paint of SAA's DC-4 ZS-BMH, which is part of the FS2004 Douglas DC-4 & C-54 (DC4_V30.ZIP) package which you will need for these textures. Modification by Maarten Brouwer.
