Also FedEx Express utilizes the small airport as a stop for package delivery from and to Humboldt County. Murray Field was first established in 1919 by pilot Dayton Murray, and was later renamed in his honor. It has a restaurant and a charter service, Northern Air, as well as a Civil Air Patrol office.
