File Description: Air Malawi textures for Rick Piper's Hawker Siddeley HS.748. Air Malawi took delivery of 7Q-YKA (cn 1666) in 1969 and 7Q-YKB (cn 1667) in 1970. They were operated on domestic routes between Blantyre, Lilongwe and Mzuzu. The aircraft could be transformed from the normal 44 seat configuration to a 60 seat configuration when used to transport mine workers to and from the Witwaterand. One aircraft was sold in 1987 second was replaced by an ATR42 in 1991.
