File Description: Wenela got its name from the Witwatersrand Native Labour Association, which provided laborers for the South African mining industry. They were formed in 1952 with Africair as the operating company using DC-3's. Wenela was based and maintained its aircraft at Francistown and stopped operating in 1978. 42-72273 (c/n 10378/DC109). Bought TF-ISE from Icelandair on 22 March 1958 and registered as ZS-CJA. Reregistered March 1961 to Wenela Rhodesia as VP-YSS. Reregistered October 1968 to Wenela Botswana as A2-ZES. Sold to Agence et Messageries Aeriennes du Zaire (AMAZ) on 17 May 1977 registered as 9Q-CAN. Textures only. You will require Jens B. Kristensen's Douglas DC-4 model (DC4_V30.ZIP). Repaint by Andre Reimers.
