File Description:
A repaint of Mike Stone's Shorts 360 in the 1986 colors of Allegheny Commuter operated by Suburban Airlines. In the 1980's these work horse, short haul aircraft used to ply the skies over my house feeding USAir flighrs out of Philadelphia and other hubs from smaller Pennsylvania communities. This Varient operated by Suburban Airlines of Reading, Pa was showcased at the 1982 Farnborough Airshow demonstrating the cost effective advantages to Large trunk carriers, to operate out of smaller underserved communities with more efficent turbo prop aircraft.
