File Description: This B-24H-20-FO 42-94812 was produced at the Ford Company's Willow Run plant. It was assigned to the 861st Bomb Sqdn, 493rd Bomb Group, 8th AAF, flying out of Debach, England. On 29 Jun 1944 the 2Lt John H Hansen flew this aircraft on a mission to Quakenbruk, Germany. When flak punctured the fuel transfer system in the bomb bay, "Little Warrior" instantly turned into a fiery blow torch before blowing up over Fallersleben, Germany. All the crew perished. I offer this repaint as a memorial to all those airmen who met with sudden death in the skies of WWII. Textures only, requires the original PAYWARE Alpha-Sim aircraft.
