UTA Boeing PSS773ER. UTA was formed in October 1963 by the merger of Union Maritime de Transport (UAT) and Compagnie de Transports Aeriens Intercontinentaux (TAI). In 1966 it formed Aeromaritime, a charter subsidiary. It bought Air France by decree on 18 December 1992 and they merged under the name "Compagnie nationale Air France".
