File Description: This package provide a means of measuring the performance of FSX in a repeatable and consistent manner. The benchmark is a 5 minute long autopiloted CRJ700 flight that starts just after the aircraft has taken off from KPAE, climbed to 1500ft, and reached 250kts towards the Seattle city center, overflies KSEA then heads directly for Mount Rainier. The idea is to get a good mix of rural / suburban / cityscape, clouds, water, and AI aircraft / boats / cars. Use include assessing the impact of FSX setting changes, the impact of different hardware drivers, hardware setting changes and hardware upgrades on FSX performance. It can also be used to comparing the performance of your system to other similarly configured systems to ensure the performance you are achieving is is representative of what can be expected and to compare the performance of your system to hardware component changes or a new system that you are considering upgrading to yourself.
