File Description: This folder contains a repaint for the AVRO 621 by Nigel Richards. As far as I could find, no AVRO 621 were ever exported to Australia, but several AVRO 649 Cadets were. VH-AGH was originally delivered to the RAAF in the second batch of Cadets during 1938-9. Initially it served with 1FTS, Point Cook, but it moved to Camden with CFS in 1941. Disposed of after the war, becoming VH-AGH on 16 July 1945 & eventually ending up in the hands of Sid Marshall at Bankstown who flew it in the paintscheme of this repaint. The aircraft is still airworthy, being beautifully restored in a RAAF camouflage paintscheme in April 2008. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Nigel Richards.
