File Description: This Sound was especially made for the AFG-Pilatus model (and to test my 5.1 PC-soundsystem). It is an interpretation of the Pratt&Whitney Turboprop engine used in PC12's. Now at low rpm's you hear that typical rattle-roaring noise which goes over to a suctional whizzling sound of the turbo-booster, taking air to the several compressors, when rpm's rise and so does the power (of the sound). My goal was also to find some relaxing, stimulating sound enhancement between inside and outside the plane, for cruse and landing operations. After many testing-sessions I think: from starting procedure to final shut down and till lingering sound of the turboring, it got pretty cool....just try it.
