Airfield Lights Toolbox (AFLT)

File Description:
Airfield Lights Toolbox (or AFLT for short) is a comprehensive utility for the creation of standard airfield lights and light arrays for Microsoft Flight Simulator and Prepare3D v1.4 (collectively referred to as "FlightSim") airports. AFLT includes 3D models for the usual airfield light fixtures (runway/taxiway edge and centerline lights, runway threshold/end split lights, obstruction lights and beacons, PAPI/VASIs, wigwags and various approach light configurations) from which you should be able to create just about any airfield light arrangement. AFLT generates complete approach and threshold light arrays (including strobes) based on simple text configuration files. As well, pilot-control of airfield lighting is fully implemented. The light sources in AFLT's light models are BGL_LIGHTs. Unfortunately, P3D Version 2 does not (yet) support BGL_LIGHTs and does not provide any alternative. (We had hoped that v2.1 would have fixed this, but "no joy". Hopefully, Lockheed Martin will see fit to rectify this deficiency.) Consequently, AFLT is only "P3Dv2-ready". ALFT is not a library of airfield lights; it is a utility for creating object libraries and light arrays. A general knowledge of FlightSim scenery file organization and airport design is necessary for its use.

AIRound v1.0

File Description:
FS2004 AIRound v1.0. This utility displays AI aircraft around user plane in AI map or AI list forms, enables AI aircraft forward, fly by or spot plane views and has its own built-in traffic alert system. In forward view eyepoint is tied to AI aircraft in front of virtual cockpit with ability to change look direction. Fly by view has adjustable parameters and random options. Departure and arrival airports and time, total about 40 ATC, state, control surfaces, radio, etc. AI aircraft parameters are available. AI map has set of scales and can be placed everywhere within 160nm AI aircraft zone around user plane. You can customize AI aircraft appearance on the map by changing mark colors, shapes, sizes and data tag types. Utility has mini panel with small scalable AI map for quick in-flight AI aircraft related analysis. Traffic alert panel helps to avoid collision with AI aircraft. Also it may be used as a navigation gauge in escort missions assisting to find, get closer and follow accompanied AI aircraft. Utility works both in FS windowed and full screen modes and doesn't require any other add-on modules or programs. You have 10 FS sessions for free.

Airport Saglek CYSV in Canada, Labrador

File Description:
Saglek Airport CYSV (Route additions to radar etc.) The airport is located north of New Fourdland in Canada, there is a radar station on the mountain near the Atlantic. In 1945, he had research on BPS. The scenery comes from information collected from Google Earth and other images. Runway 17 has an ILS approach on frequency 110.10. Runway 35 also has an ILS approach on frequency 112.10. The landing is quite critical because we are close to the ground. ATC control is active for approaches and ground service. Special Warning: If you have another CYSV scene in Community, please delete it or remove it from the Community. Installation: unzip the folder: rd-airport-cysv-saglek-v4.zip and place the rd-airport-saglek folder in the community.

Albany International Airport (KALB) Albany, New York

File Description: This airport was made using Airport Design Editor, Google Sketchup, and Instant Scenery 2. Albany International Airport, Is an airport located near Albany, New York. The airport has scheduled airline flights. Almost all of the buildings are custom made with photo textures to make it closer to real life. At the main terminal, I added more gates and put moving jetways. The gates have assigned parking codes. There is a parking lot next to the terminal full of cars. I put the airport access road in between the parking lot and the terminal. At the southwest ramp, I put hangars and some you can taxi inside of. If you choose to start off from the southwest DOCK gate, You will start off inside the Million Air Aviation FBO. I also put static aircraft on the ramp too. To the northwest, I put the New York Police hangar. You can start off inside this hangar by choosing the Northwest DOCK gate. Taxiing into or starting off inside a hangar will not cause a crash unless you touch the sides. To the Northeast, I put the cargo terminal with trucks. At the cargo section, I put three FedEx Cessna Caravans. I also put the control tower and the buildings. Tower views are from the roof of the control tower. To the southeast, I put small hangars and the Air National Guard Section with UH-60 helicopters. I extended runway 1/19 to the correct length of 8,500 feet. I also put red, blue, green, and purple Cessna 172s in different places around the airport. There will be more objects if your scenery complexity is set to normal (such as jetways, aircraft, and vehicles). This was all made based on Google Earth Imagery and Bing Maps. There are no night textures for the buildings. This will be added in a future version. An installer program is included to install the airport for you. There will be more versions of this that include night textures and static business jets. This is for Flight Simulator X only. By Tyler Lawrence.

Alice Springs, Northern Territory, Australia (YBAS)

File Description:
This file is for the default airport with extra gates/GA parking, Taxiway/Runway lighting has been improved, the missing taxiway M has been added which is the entry to rwy 12, gates are numbered/sized in the correct order within the constraints of fs9, although there is no official helipad at Alice Springs i have added one which has lighting, airport views are from the roof of the control tower (only when you are in tower view) fully tested with Ultimate Traffic but not required.

This paint used a Posky's 737-800 paintkit and modified for -700. With friendly permission of the POSKY members, thank you very much! The livery shows the ANA All Nippon Airways regular colors, registration JA03AN. Model features: Dynamic flexing wings that respond to turbulence. Fully Animated control surfaces, push back truck with animated ground crew, opening doors & cargo doors, accurate FDE, highly detailed textures, and lots more that you'll just have to find!
