De Havilland Canada DHC-2 Beaver (VH-EAS)

File Description: This folder contains a repaint for the Milviz DHC-2 Beaver, representing the first of four Beaver ordered by Qantas, #643 was registered as VH-EAS in 1955 and was used in Papua New Guinea. It was sold to Aerial Agriculture in 1958, becoming VH-AAP, but was written off after an accicent in August 1958. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on th Milviz paintkit.

De Havilland Canada DHC-6 Twin Otter (VH-BMG)

File Description: This folder contains a repaint for the Aerosoft Twin Otter Extended, in the colors of VH-BMG (c/n 219). Formerly N5216, the aircraft was imported into Australia by the Bureau of Mineral Resources, Canberra, in March 1970. It was used for extensive survey expeditions all over Australia, usually equipped with a magnetometer boom on the tail. It was sold to the Missionary Aviation Fellowship in 1987 and went to Papua New Guinea as P2-MFY. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Aerosoft.

De Havilland Canada DHC-6 Twin Otter VH-BMG

File Description:
This is a repaint for the Aerosoft De Havilland Canada DHC-6 Twin Otter, representing con.no 219, built in 1969 in the paintscheme she wore in 1985 as VH-BMG. She was used for aerial geological survey work for the Australian Bureau of Mineral Resources (BMR) all over the Australian outback (as evidenced by the stickers behind the pilot's door), and was equipped with a belly radome and a long magnetometer tail boom. Unfortunately, I could not model those. Since then, she has been converted back to normal configuration as P2-MFY with Missionary Aviation Fellowship in Papua New Guinea, and converted to DHC-6-300. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, using the paintkit by Aerosoft.

Douglas C-47 (P2-002) PNG Defence Force

File Description: This folder contains a repaint for version 3.14 of the Douglas C-47 by Manfred Jahn and colleagues in the colors of C-47B-30-DK c/n# 32877 44-76545 of the PNGDF. It was built by Douglas and went to the RAAF in april 1945 as A65-84. It flew with 2 ATU with call sign VH-HJM and was later assigned to 34 squadron. After the war, it remained with the RAAF until 1975, when it was one of seven C-47's that were donated to the Papua New Guinea's Defence Force, where it was assigned the serial P2-002. It flew with the PNGDF until the late 1980's, when all C-47's were phased out. The aircraft was retained for display, and can currently been seen standing on pylons at Jackson Airport. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom for Manfred Jahn's C-47 version 3.14, based on the paintkit by Gman5250.

Frieda River Airstrip (FRR)

File Description:
This airfield is managed by Frieda Copper Ltd in Papua New Guinea and is used mostly as remote air freight hub for movement of mining equipment and personnel. There are four exploration sites with landable bamboo helipads within vicinity of airfield which are accessed only by company helicopters. There are animals, birds in flight, sounds, night lighting effects, animation, custom rwy, apron and vegetation, etc.

Read the README carefully as there are separate installation instructions for payware owners and non-owners of "Raw Grit: PNG Bushpilot" and "Extreme Bush Trekker" (or combo pack). This is a stand-alone freeware so it doesn't matter if you don't have the commercial combo pack.

File Description:
FSX/P3D PMDG 737NGX repaint in Sriwijaya Air's "I Love Papua" decals, registration PK-CLA. PTP file only, requires the old PMDG 737NGX for FSX/P3D and at least PMDG Operations Center v1 (NGX Livery Manager won't work). Repainted by Nathaniel Rusdianto.

File Description:
For those who are interested and bush piloting lovers, I have created a detailed flight plan for FSX/P3D (*.PLN) in which you can load into your Simulator. the FP follows all 10 airstrips that are part of the Orbx "FTX PI AYPY" scenery pack of the Kokoda track at Papua New Guinea (excluding helipads). the FP starts at Kokoda airfield (AYKO) and ends at the end at the same Kokoda airfield (round trip).
The FP is also set in a way that it brings your plane & aligns you at the angle of the runway for landing. the Flight plan is intended to be used with Orbx FTX AYPY scenery. You must have the "Orbx FTX PI AYPY Jacksons International Airport" installed in order for this to work as intended.
