Editvoicepack ATC Phraseology Modifications Set 6 ZipDive!  Download

File Description:
Nine simple changes via EditVoicePack to the default FSX ATC, all to do with flight following, VFR Class B and C airspace transits, and VFR transponder codes. To make things sound slightly more international, the term VFR "flight following" has been changed to "radar information service" (i.e. a generic term which indicates radar-based traffic info in Class G airspace, but no avoidance vectors). When requesting a VFR transit of Class B or C airspace (whether or not you're on flight following), ATC will now mention that they're giving you/upgrading you to a "radar advisory service". In other words, you're now in controlled airspace, so ATC can suggest vectors to avoid traffic if the situation warrants it. Of course, FSX's ATC doesn't actually give vectors for traffic, so we'll have to suspend belief here! ATC will also cancel your radar advisory service when you leave that unit's Class B or C. Finally, "squawk 1200" is changed to "squawk VFR", for those in the world who don't use 1200 as the VFR code. Install with EditVoicePack 4.0 (see here if you need information on how to do this: http://www.editvoicepack.com/).

File Description:
Four simple changes via EditVoicePack to the default FSX ATC, to do with initial descents and the expected IFR approach, and clearance for the IFR approach. The phrasing has been altered slightly regarding the approach types and runways. Now you'll hear (for example) "Expect/cleared ILS/visual approach, runway 25L", rather than "Expect/cleared ILS/visual runway 25L approach". The aircraft location calls ("XXX, you are 20 miles south of YYY") have also been removed from both of these phrases, to streamline the ATC delivery a bit. Install with EditVoicePack 4.0 (see here if you need information on how to do this: http://www.editvoicepack.com/).

File Description:
THis is one simple change via EditVoicePack to the default FSX ATC, to do with area control/center callsigns. This mod silences the "center" or "control" part of area control callsigns, and is set up so that these callsigns will randomly (p=0.5) appear without the ATS unit type part of the callsign. Examples are "contact Indianapolis Center on 128.3" vs. "contact Indianapolis on 128.3" and "Dakar Control, XYZ123 with you at FL350" vs. "Dakar, XYZ123 with you at FL350". Install with EditVoicePack 4.0 (see here if you need information on how to do this: http://www.editvoicepack.com/).

File Description:
These are a few changes to in-flight or 'pop-up' IFR requests.

These mods clean up the default punctuation a bit, and add the aircraft altitude at the initial IFR request. They remove the "as filed" section of the IFR clearance -- the assumption here (not necessarily so in the real world) is that if you planned to fly IFR enroute, you would have already filed on the ground, and therefore your air-file is an impromptu request. They also add the phrase "cleared direct to [airport] airport, expect radar vectors", which is the closest approximation of what the sim's ATC will actually do.

Install with EditVoicePack 4.0 (see here if you need information on how to do this: http://www.editvoicepack.com/).
