3D Contrail

File Description:
This is a new contrail effect for your FS 2004. As you know, the original contrails are not very realistic as they are 2 dimensional, so I created a new 3D contrail for the FS2004 to make flights in high altitudes more realistic. In cause that you don't like the new effects there are backup files containing the original fx_contrail_l.fx file! Hope you'll enjoy it!

You can easily change the max contrail temperature and the contrail effect. For best contrail effects you should also download "ai_fx.zip" by Jan Rosenberg too which is avaliable in the library.

CF-220 Grizzly

File Description:
A "what-if" concept for a future air dominance fighter for the Canadian Armed Forces. The name Grizzly was chosen as, like the claws of its bear namesake, it's weaponry consists of 10 air-to-air missiles, making this one fearsome predator. Original aircraft design by Brian Sturton. Effects courtesy Rob Barendregt, Dean Reimer, Bryan Betts, Nick Needham, and Jan Rosenberg. Model features working afterburner, sonic boom (audio and visual) effects, wingtip G-force contrails, opening canopy and landing gear suspension. Has been tested with FS2002 and FS2004.

File Description:
A fictitious Boeing 575-200 (Gmax/FSDS2) with 2 texture sets, demonstrator and private. Animated parts: full pilot, flight controls, spoilers, flaps and slats, lift dumpers, thrust reversers, gear with struts, wheels, suspension, canopy, ailerons, elevators and rudder. Polished aluminium reflective textures. Full lighting with individual switches, including splash effects, logo splash, gear inspection lamps and double flash strobes. True rotating beacon and rain spray. Editable registration number. Auto smoke, wing mist and wingtip contrails. 3D views and DVC with real gauge illumination. Full original XML panel, mostly CRT touchscreen technology (mouse). XML original gauges including auto features (examples, auto take-off and landing). Panel sounds. Integrated CRT pop-up windows, including GPS, Radios with memory banks, clock/timer/alarm, fuel computers, selectors and fuel dump, day/night HUDs, AIRadar. Continental & TWA Liveries McDonnell Douglas MD-83

File Description:
This is a repainted version of a McDonnell-Douglas MD-83 in fictional TWA & Continental Airlines Liveries for FS 2004. All textures have been meticulously repainted and saved using 32-Bit format with Aplha Channels which allows for a highly detailed paint scheme with fabulous textures. Model includes sounds, 2D panel (No VC), animated control surfaces, engine smoke effects (I Key), high altitude contrails (at temperatures below -27C), opening passenger door (Shift+E) and opening cargo door (Shift+E+2). Panel is an excellent lights version.

High-Altitude Contrail 50 Miles Long

File Description:
FS2004 High-altitude contrail 50 miles long. Use w/ default AI aircraft. High- altitude contrails are now enabled by MS for use on each aircraft, jet or prop, single or multi-engine, by using the FS9 version of the aircraft.cfg "EFFECTS" section to specify them. The temperature below which the contrails occur can also be defined in aircraft.cfg by the user. Included in d/l are new AI contrail, and revised aircraft.cfg w/folder structure to make a extra "AI" copy of default AC. This allows default(or other)contrail to be used for "hand" flying same aircraft. Easy manual installation with all new filenames.

Improved Contrails for FS2004

File Description:
This is an improved version of the contrails-fx for FS9 by Thorsten Reichert (c) 2005. The original contrails are too short and all in all not very realistic. Try this and see your AI-traffic like the REAL one. ;-)

Special Effects for Default DC-3.

File Description:
FS2004 Special effects for default DC-3. Customized engine startup smoke and high altitude contrails are now enabled by MS for use on each aircraft, jet or prop, single or multi-engine, by using the FS9 version of the aircraft.cfg's [EFFECTS] section to specify them. The temperature below which the contrails occur can also be defined in aircraft.cfg by the user. DC-3 startup smoke, contrails, and tire- mark (14" wide) are included in the d/l. Also fixes wrong prop rotation; has more scrape points/effects for bellylandings. Easy manual installation with all new filenames.
