File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the A2A Lockheed L049 Constellation in the colors of 48-610 "Columbine II". It was delivered to the USAF as a C-121A in 1949 and was used for flights between MacArthur Field NY and Keflavik on Iceland in 1949. It was then converted to VC-121A and became the presidential aircraft "Columbine II" for president Eisenhower until 1954. After 1954 is was used as a VIP aircraft for the remainder of its Air Force career, with a brief stint in Thailand as N9907F during 1955. It was retired in 1968 and used for spares by Christler Flying Service between 1970 and 1984, registered as N9463. It was restored to flying condition in 1989-90 by Mel Christler and Harry Oliver and made some flights in 1990-91. Attempts to sell it were unsuccesful,a nd the aircraft was stored at Avra Valley airport until 2015, when it was sold to Dynamic Aviation of Bridgewater VA, who are hoping to restore it and to fly it on airshows. File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the A2A Lockheed L049 Constellation in the colors of L049 G-AHEM 'Balmoral'of BOAC. It was originally built as a C69 (c/n 1978), but went to BOAC instead as G-AHEM 'Balmoral' in 1946. It was sold to Capitol Airlines as N2735A in 1954, and was written off after a crash landing in Charleston in 1959. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by A2A.

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the A2A Lockheed L049 Constellation in the colors of CX-BCS of CAUSA. CX-BCS was a L-749 (c/n 2640) that started its flying career with KLM. "Arnhem" was delivered new to KLM as PH-TFD in May 1950 and e-registered PH-LDD in April 1954. It was retired from KLM in March 1960 and sold to CAUSA of Uruguay in November 1963 as CX-BCS. It flew with CAUSA until the airlines demise in 1967. The aircraft was scrapped in 1972. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by A2A.

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the A2A Lockheed L049 Constellation in the colors of 48-612 of the MATS. It was delivered to the USAF in 1949 and flew in support of the Berlin Airlift. This repaint shows it in the colors of the Atlantic Division of MATS around that time. It was converted to a C-121A and used for VIP missions for the remainder of its air force career, which lasted until 1967. It was then used as an agricultural spray aircraft, until it was bought by the Dutch Constellation Association. It went to the Aviodrome museum in Lelystad, the Netherlands in 2001, and was restored. It flew last in 2007, but insurance problems kept it grounded since. It is currently on static display in the Aviodrome, wearing KLM colors. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by A2A.

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the A2A Lockheed L049 Constellation in the colors of VH-EAD of Qantas Empire Airways Ltd. Built as a L-749, VH-EAD was delivered to Qantas in 1947 and named 'Charles Kingsford Smith'. It flew with Qanntas until 1955, when it was sold to Aerovias Guest of Mexico. It went to the US in 1962, where it was scrapped in 1971. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by A2A.

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the A2A Lockheed L049 Constellation in the colors of N7777G of Fly Alaska. N7777G was a L749 that first flew with KLM as PH-TET. It flew with Wien Alaskan Airlines between 1964 and 1968 before going to Fly Alaska. In 1973 it was used by the Rolling Stones for their Far East Tour. It then went to Lanzair and was abandoned in Dublin in 1974. It has been on display in the Science Museum at Wroughton since 1983. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by A2A.

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the A2A Lockheed L049 Constellation in the colors of 48-613 "Bataan". It was delivered to the USAF as a C-121A and was used in the Berlin Airlift. It was the personal aircraft of General MacArthur between 9/1950 and 4/1951 and named Bataan. It then served as a VIP aircraft until 1965. In 1966 it went to NASA who used it as N422NA until 1970, when it was declared surplus. It went to the Planes of Fame museum in Valle, AZ, where it was displayed as Bataan and is currently in Chino for restoration. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by A2A.

OE-IFE was a L-749 (c/n 2551) that Aero Transport bought from Korean Airlines in 1962, and used for charter flights. After the bankruptcy of Aero Transport, OE-IFE was scrapped at Schiphol in 1966. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by A2A.

File Description:
Lockheed Constellation for AI Traffic (Part 3). The Lockheed Constellation was a medium-to-long range airliner, military transport, and later an electronic warfare platform, in production from 1943 to 1958, and in service long after that, with many eventually finishing up their careers as freighters in remote parts of the world. I present an 8-LOD AI traffic model to bring this vintage transport aircraft to the flightsim world. Part 3 contains the L-049, L-649, and L-749 variants, with 9 models and 40 repaints. This is an FS9-native model, so it is compatible up through P3Dv3. Aircraft model, flight dynamics, and repaints by Michael Pearson.
