Cumulus Bundius ZipDive!  Download

File Description:
This file adds a rarely-seen cloud type to FlightSim, the Cumulus Bundius. This unsual atmospheric phenomenon is seldom seen any more, possibly due to global warming, but you may remember them from your youth. In the sim, you will occasionally notice its appearance within cumulus layers from 3000 to 6000 feet thick, covering 1/8 to 3/8 of the sky. The standard weather setting 'Cold Fronts' covers this range.

Flying Cloud Airport KFCM ZipDive!  Download

File Description:
FS2004 Scenery-Flying Cloud Airport (KFCM) serves Minneapolis and Hennepin County and is owned by Metropolitan Airport Cmsn. The airport has more than one runway. The longest is a paved runway extending 3909 feet. The facility is at an elevation of 906 feet at a distance of about 11 miles from Minneapolis. This scenery was created using FSDS3, EZ Scenery, Rwy12, Lago's FSE and AFCAD2 and Traffic Tools.Objects placed with slightly different method. Please read readme file. Some textures included.

In-N-Out Burger - LAX ZipDive!  Download

Re-uploaded by popular demand. This simple add-on scenery for the LAX airport includes the In-N-Out burger, The Parking Spot, the Goodyear store and other miscellaneous buildings that are found on Sepulveda Blvd just north of runway 24R. This scenery works with the default LAX and Cloud 9's version.

Kotzebue PAOT on the northwestern coast of Alaska ZipDive!  Download

File Description:
There are four main northwestern Alaska towns which have good airports and are serviced by Alaska Airlines. From these airports local flights connect to nearby villages, "nearby" in Alaska meaning up to 150 miles away. The northernmost is Barrow. Southwest of Barrow is Kotzebue, then Nome, and the furthest south is Bethel. The town of Kotzbue is north of the Bering Strait on the northwestern coast, 320 miles southwest of Barrow. The population is just over 3,000 people. The location was for a long time a base for trading in furs, with three rivers emptying into the sea and providing routes into the interior land and villages; a meeting place between hunters and traders from Russia and elsewhere. The Kotzebue airport is called the Ralph Wien Memorial and has two runways. The modern one is aligned 08-26 and is 5,880 feet of 150 feet wide asphalt built across a shallow lagoon, with an ILS on 08 and PAPI on both ends. The second and older runway is originally military and gravel, aligned 17-35 and 3,786 feet long and used (wind allowing) by the GA planes that park alongside the runway. The prevalent wind is from the west; when the wind is from the east it is generally relatively feeble and with a much lower cloud base, possibly to the ground, hence the need for an ILS. All AI aircraft in FS9 much prefer to use a runway that has an ILS and so will continue to use 08-26 even if the wind is from the south until it reaches 30+ knots, even if they are a Cessna 150 flying VFR. So for AI realism in FS9 a northern or southern wind needs to be a strong one so that the runway is actually used. However, as Alaska Airlines, Northern Air Cargo, and Everts Air also fly to Kotzebue and can only use the east-west runway (as less than 4,000 feet of asphalt would be seriously inconvenient for a Boing 737 or DC6) it is necessary to have the northern or southern wind UNDER 30 knots at the times when they are landing or taking off. Your choice. I suppose a permanent strong wind from the west would be the most realistic on a daily basis, deterring all planes from ever using 17-35. The AI will develop along with further scenery additions in the neighbourhood.

Modified 3D Cloud Texture V.2 ZipDive!  Download

File Description:
Resized default cloud texture (cumulus01.bmp) for 3D clouds in FS2004. Texture was resized from 512X512 to 256X256, cutting filesize from 1,33MB to 85KB. Resized texture does NOT make clouds look smaller in size. After installing it I was able to run 3D clouds with maximum weather settings. IN THIS VERSION: By default original FS9 textures make 3D clouds look flat at the bottom. In this version texture is modified, so that 3D clouds look rounder at the base. If you prefer the "flat" look, download the previous version (res3dcloudtex.zip) Smaller texture sizes improve framerate (FPS). TEXTURE ONLY.

IMPORTANT: To avoid errors, please make sure that "Render to texture" check box is turned ON in "Display Settings".

My water Project V-1.2 is a freeware add-on that replaces the sad water textures of Flight Simulator 2004. My water Project V-1.2
- replaces the sea and ocean coral blue with a more realistic blue;
- adds wonderful coral waters;
- adds a pumping effect;
- colours change with the time of day;
- includes a great sun reflection effect and slightly the cloud.

There is no texture change between V1.0 and V1.2, just the new installation program witch now make automatically back up file ! AirTimSimulation Team

Resized 2D Cloud Textures ZipDive!  Download

File Description:
Resized default cloud textures for 2D clouds in FS2004. Cloud textures format was cut in half, thus reducing the overall filesize from 40MB to 2.5MB. Textures in 512X512 format resized to 256X256. Textures in 256X256 format resized to 128X128. Resized texture does NOT make clouds look smaller in size. Display settings used while taking screenshot: Sight distance: 150Mi/240Km. Cloud draw distance: 80Mi/128Km. 3D cloud percentage: 50%. Optional 3D cloud texture "cumulus01.bmp" included. Smaller texture sizes improve framerate (FPS). TEXTURE ONLY.

IMPORTANT: To avoid errors, please make sure that "Render to texture" check box is turned ON in "Display Settings".

Resized 3D Cloud Texture V.4 ZipDive!  Download

Resized default cloud texture (cumulus01.bmp) for 3D clouds in FS2004. Texture was resized from 512X512 to 128X128, cutting filesize from 1,33MB to 22KB (DXT3). Resized texture does NOT make clouds look smaller in size. This file is recommended for those who prefer speed (FPS) over visual detail. The difference in visual detail in my opinion is minimal. IN THIS VERSION: texture was edited so that clouds would appear white instead of gray. Screenshots show 3D clouds set to maximum OVERCAST!!! Optional 888-8 type extended bitmap included (86KB). IMPORTANT: To avoid errors, turn the "Render to texture" box to ON in "Display Settings". Smaller texture sizes improve framerate (FPS).
