File Description:
Greece has 15 CH-47D. The 9 of them are upgraded CH-47C to CH-47DG in 1995. The other 6 are CH-47SD. In 1980 Greece ordered 10 CH-47C Chinook. The first arrived in Greece in 1983. The first Greek Chinooks formally were belonged to Iran but after the fallen of Shahs, they were given to Greece. In 1984 took place the first accident of the Greek Chinooks when the ลำ-006 had a heavy landing in Samos Island, during the transportation of a radar. After that the 006 was used as a source. The other 9 in the period of 1992-1994 were upgraded to D (Super D). After the Imia night, the Greek Government wanted to order 11 Chinooks helicopter, 9 SD and 2 SD for the Special Forces. Later 7 Chinooks were ordered. They have analogue cockpit and not glass cockpit in order to be same with the old DG. Also they have the better engine T55-L714A (4.868hp). This Chinook package is only for the FSX, but in case you want to fly it on your FS2004,then the majority of the Gauges will not be appeared. The package is complete. Features: model, Virtual Cockpit, new Panel, Sounds, rework Flight Dynamics, two Textures olive green and a dessert camo. The Original Model belongs to Mark Adams & Tom Woods, the reworked Flight Dynamics to Marwan Latif. The textures represent the olive green witch have now the Hellenic Chinooks and the dessert witch appeared until the upgraded of the CH-47C to CH-47DG.

File Description:
Pilatus PC-6C H2 Turbo Porter for FSX by Tim Conrad in a fictional Royal Netherlands Army livery. The PC-6C Turbo Porter has been an amazing contribution to the STOL aircraft fleet around the world for decades. It's robust airframe and excellent aerodynamics make the plane very popular for para-drops, but also for supply missions in remote area's throughout the globe. Despite it's age the aircraft is still widely in use. This repaint represents a "what-if" livery for the Royal Netherlands Army (RNLA). In the far past the RNLA could depend on the Beaver and similar aircraft for light support and small batch para-drops (later the Fokker F-27's performed these tasks). Nowadays they are performed by the Dutch "Defence Helicopter Command" (AS-532U2 Cougar's and CH-47D Chinook's) and by the 336 Sqn C-130's. This livery resembles a fictional light utility aircraft registred to the Dutch Army, with corresponding low-visibility (and night-ops optimal) color scematics. The emblem and aircraft name belong to the "Korps Commando Troepen", the Dutch Army Special Forces based at Rosendaal. The name "Achnacarry" denotes the place in Scotland where the Dutch Commando Unit was founded in WWII. You need the excellent freeware PC-6C H2 Turbo Porter by Tim Conrad in order to use this repaint. Enjoy!

File Description:
This is a repaint of the Boeing CH-47D Chinook helicopter in U.S. Forest Service Fire Rescue livery N10HE. These are textures only and require the original model (available by downloading either the Hellenic Army Aviation or U.S. Armed Forces Chinook). In the U.S. Forest Service, the Chinook is often called upon for firefighting duties. These include transporting and para-dropping firefighters and equipment as well as using a large bucket to drop water directly onto forest fires. The Chinook is also used in search and rescue operations. Special thanks to Delizisis Thanasis and Delizisis Panagiots for their original textures used as paint templates.

File Description:
This is a major upgrade to my recently released CH-47D Chinook U.S. Armed Forces file for FSX. This file has new replacement repaint textures and also incudes the original CH-47D Chinook model by Mark Adams & Tom Woods. You do not need to download the old version in order to use this file - no other files are necessary. This upgrade contains vast improvements including newly compressed texture files for significantly improved performance and space savings with minimal impact to image quality. All repaints now include actual unit markings and improved olive drab color. Pilots also now have appropriate unit markings. The two Army Chinooks carry unit markings for the 1st Cavalry, 2nd Battalion, 227th Air Regiment - this unit is currently active and provides troop and equipment transport and medivac for the 1st Cavalry - Air Mobile. The Marine Chinooks now carry markings for the 3rd Marine Air Wing. Special thanks to Delizisis Thanasis and Delizisis Panagiots for use of their textures as a painting template. The Original Model belongs to Mark Adams & Tom Woods, the reworked Flight Dynamics to Marwan Latif, the panel and the textures to Delizisis Thanasis and Delizisis Panagiots.
