AirNow Summer 2010

File Description: AirNow has headquarters at the William H. Morse State Airport ( KDDH) in Bennington, Vermont. They owns a fleet of 12 Embraer EMB-110 Bandits from hubs in Buffalo, New York, and Columbia, South Carolina. Flights taken from FlightAware for the week June 27 - July 3, 2010 when AirNow operated only 5 of the 12 aircraft.

File Description: Textures for Chris Buff's Lockheed L-188 - repainted by Manfred Meyer. You need to download the ELEC-CB.ZIP or L188electra.zip. These textures depict OE-ILA (c/n 1145) originally delivered 1961 to Western Air Lines as N9746C. The Electra was converted to freighter in 1969 and sold to International Jet Air, Canada as CF-IJJ. In 1972 she came to Europe as LN-MOI for Nordic Air A/S, Norway and 1973 to Fred Olsen. Amerer Air from Linz in Austria bought the plane in September 1997 and used it for freight contract flights throughout Europe until 2006. Sold to Buffalo Airways,Yellowknife, Canada, in 2007 as C-GLBA.

File Description:
Flightplans for Ameriflight Summer 2018. Ameriflight is the largest United States FAA Part 135 cargo carrier, operating scheduled and contract cargo services to destinations in 30 US states, Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean. Ameriflight headquartered in Dallas, Texas (DFW) with Domicile bases in ONT-Ontario, DFW-Dallas, PDX-Portland, PHX-Phoenix, SLC-Salt Lake City, BFI-Seattle, ABQ-Albuquerque, BUR-Burbank, BUF-Buffalo, LAN-Lansing, OMA-Omaha, Cincinnati, as well as SJU-San Juan Puerto Rico. The majority of their business centers around cargo feeder service for UPS, FEDEX, and DHL.

Arviat CYEK in Nunavut, Canada

File Description:
Arviat is a small town on the west coast of Hudson Bay in Nunavut, around 90 miles south of Whale Cove, 130 miles south of Rankin Inlet, and 160 miles north of Churchill. The airfield is just south of the town, and the 4,000 feet of gravel runway is aligned 149T/329T; these are true bearings and not magnetic as Arviat is just inside the Northern Domestic Airspace zone. There is 100LL fuel available in drums, with 2 hours prior notice. The visiting AI airline is Calm Air, plus a cargo delivery by Buffalo Air. As a town of 2,200 people is too large to model I have used a landclass with autogeneration. The result includes some trees, which is not realistic, but there was no way out. There is a special note in the instructions regarding Flight Ontario replacement textures and "glowing" gravel aprons.

File Description: Since it became operational in 1955, the B-52 has been the main long-range heavy bomber of the U.S. Air Force. It first flew on Apr. 15, 1952. Nearly 750 B-52s were built when production ended in Oct. 1963. This "J" model is the future re-engined "h" model 60-0042 of the 917th Wing AFRC based at Barksdale AFB (KBAD). She flies higher, further, and faster than any previous version. The aircraft can cruise at 380 KIAS at 500 ft agl over about 5,000 nm which makes her capable of reaching targets within enemy airspace anywhere on the globe without being detected by radar until it's too late. Her normal high altitude cruise speed has been increased to Mach .88 above FL550E over 9,000 nm without refueling, and her service ceiling has increased to FL570E. The 50,000 lb payload is still nominal, but due to the lighter engines she now has more accomidations for the crew, and does not require refueling very often. She can range much further with less speed (i.e., Mach .85), but there is normally no need for that. This aircraft is designed to fly like the real thing. It is likely one of the best B-52 models available at this time. I have test-flown this aircraft around the globe several times to reassure myself that all is well. You will not have a bouncing effect occur when cruising with 16x speed acceleration and autopilot engaged because all aerodynamics and balance are perfected to a very low margin of error, or no error margin at all. Beechcraft C90 Buffalo Bird Dog

File Description:
After watching an episode of Ice Pilots, I saw a Buffalo Airways King Air they called the Bird Dog. It was used to control the fire fighting air traffic over a forest fire. This is my representation of this aircraft. I did my best based on photos from an internet search to keep it as close to the original as possible.
