File Description: Let C-11 (Yak -11) for FS9. The Yak-11 design was based in large part on the successful Yak-3 fighter, and became the Soviet Air Force's most widely used trainer aircraft. From 1953, an additional 707 were licence-built by Let in Czechoslovakia under the name C-11 (LET C-11 in some documentation). Both Yak-11 and C-11 were used in all Warsaw Pact countries and were exported to eighteen countries. The model is created using Gmax, with 2D cockpit, fully clickable virtual cockpit and all moving parts.

File Description: This aircraft has been made primarily for AI purposes but actually also flies well as an ordinary aircraft. Ray Blake persuaded me to create two additional models for the Yak52 (4_GA_Yak52.zip uploaded in March 2008) which display a large nose cone with the existing two-blade prop, or the large nose cone and a three-blade prop.
He kindly provided four new textures to accompany these two new models. You can either just load the whole new set into your existing FS9 aircraft folders and it will display as a single incorporated set of Yak52 aircraft, or if you want to merge the new models and textures into the Yak52 folder, an illustration of the folder arrangement is included for your guidance. The same paintkit (paintkit_4_ga_yak52.zip) is used for any of these models.

File Description: Yakolev 'Yak 52', May 2005. This is a complete rework of my model. The visual model is completely new as is the panel and flight dynamics. The textures have been enhanced with the use of some reflective textures. Over six months in the making this new version is a huge improvement.
The Yak 52 was a Russian two seat trainer, with tandem seating it has a cockpit layout that is very close to that of the jets the student would progress onto.
The Yak 52 is fully aerobatic and I have added wingtip smoke to enhance the aerobatic experience. Also included, opening canopy, steerable nose wheel, detailed visual model, detailed 2D panel.
Many Yak 52's can now be seen as private sport aircraft in the west. This model is of a private owned 52 in the UK.

File Description: Re-upload following Avsim hack. Quoting from Wikipedia: "The Yakovlev Yak-52 is a Soviet primary trainer aircraft. It first flew in 1976 and is still being produced in Romania, by Aerostar, they gained manufacturing rights under agreement within COMECON socialist trade organisation now defunct. The Yak-52 was designed originally as an aerobatic trainer for students in the Soviet DOSAAF training organisation. That organisation trained both civilian sport pilots and military pilots.
Since the early 1990s and the fall of the Soviet Union, many Yak 52s have been exported to the west. Of the approximately 1,800 produced to date, most now fly in the United States, United Kingdom, New Zealand, Australia and other western countries.
A descendant of the single-seat competition aerobatic Yakovlev Yak-50, the all-metal Yak-52 is powered by a 360 hp, 9-cylinder radial engine, the Vedeneyev M14P. The aircraft has inverted fuel and oil systems permitting inverted flight for as long as two minutes. The engine drives a two-bladed counter-clockwise rotating, constant-speed, wood and fiberglass laminate propeller.
The tricycle landing gear is fully retractable, but it remains partially-exposed in the retracted position, affording both a useful level of drag in down manoeuvres and a measure of protection should the plane be forced to land "wheels up." Curiously the main wheels retract forward into the slipstream."
It has has been constructed using Gmax v1.2. The aircraft is constructed with as few polygons as possible and with a single texture file to ensure the absolute minimum impact on your framerates. The model has six LODs.
As usual, I have made three different textures for the aircraft. These are accurate textures which also includes the actual registration number of the aircraft as this seems to be what many desire to have.
It is designed specifically to enhance the AI aircraft population and to use with the marvellous GA-Traffic programme by Markus Brunner . It is also very flyable as a normal aircraft.
