File Description:
Inspired by Michael Doherty (Difficult & Dangerous Approaches) and David Dossiere (Hopping Round the World) and their flight adventures, I have put together a series of flight plan-adventures where the aircraft used are all available as freeware. A file locator is included with each package so that you can easily find and download the aircraft used. These packages each contain 10 flight adventures and each package begins at the location the previous package ended. All flightplans are VFR only and are designed so that you can enjoy the outstanding scenery of Alaska, Western Canada, Western and Mountain States of the lower 48, and Mexico. The adventure, Crossing North America, begins at Pt Hope, Alaska and will conclude in the following months at Cancun, Mexico. The aircraft used are: General Aviation, Vintage, Warbirds, Bush Aircraft, and Propliners. No IFR flightplans or jets! The flightplans are NOT designed to get you from Alaska to Mexico by the shortest route possible, but are in the spirit of David Dossiere's "Hopping Round the World" adventure flights, in that they take you into as many areas or airports as possible. Looking for some fun, flying low, and enjoying the scenery, then these flight adventures are for you.

Hopping Round the World Adventure - Pack 1

File Description:
While vacationing in The Falkland Islands a knock on your door awakens you from a restful sleep. You receive a challenge from a long time friend. With his deep pockets and sense of adventure he challenges you to fly around the world. Not just any flight of course but Hopping Round the World. Your goal is simple. Stay alive and get to the final destination point wherever that may be. Your biggest fear is the unknown; weather, airports, equipment failures, etc... You are provided all the equipment to complete this challenge. The plan is laid out and your adventure begins.

Hopping Round the World Adventure - Pack 10

File Description:
All flights flown are somewhere Mexico and Baja, California. You are giving your LearJet a nice workout this time round. Hey, we are back in the USA in the next pack. Whew, by the time you have finished Pack 10, you would have flown 19,189 miles with 97 takeoffs and landings. Don't give up now, much, much more to go.

Hopping Round the World Adventure - Pack 11

File Description:
Our first stop back in the USA is the great state of Texas. So far our equipment has held up nicely through South America, the Caribbean and Central America. Everything mechanical breaks down once in a while so there is no telling what is in store as we continue our adventure. With some new airplanes added in Pack 12 you will have to learn the nuances of each type and focus on staying in one piece. The weather has been good lately but as always, no telling what is in store. Lots of interesting places to visit as we hop around the USA.

Hopping Round the World Adventure - Pack 12

File Description:
Truth or Consequences? Yes! There is such a place in the USA. I know that FS2004 has grass runways but it was interesting to see KTCS with a paved runway and multiple grass runways as well. Get you mower humming. Don't let the sun in your eyes affect your dusk landing in the mountains. This pack should separate the men from the boys. How does the saying go? Be careful what you wish for because you might get it. Finally the equipment failures creep up and bite you if you don't pay attention. Decision, decision. What will you do? Do you know how to hand crank your landing gears. No belly flopping allowed. Luck may be on your side this day as every pilot will attest. Remember, you must make it to your assigned destination. No excuses!

Hopping Round the World Adventure - Pack 13

File Description:
This ain't your grandma adventure as this pack will attest. At least I tried but I didn't see any UFO flying around Roswell, New Mexico. Oh well! I know of a Chihuahua dog but there is a place in Mexico called Chihuahua. Go figure-which came first? You will see the most impressive sunset yet in this HRW adventure as you head to Phoenix. Tiger anyone? Get your military gear to experience flying the Typhoon and F16 (see readme for files). You will not be disappointed as you burst past Mach 1 or fly inverted while cruising over the Grand Canyon. It keeps getting better. More military firepower coming plus the A330, A340, 757 and much more. I see you survived the previous pack power outage and engine failure...

Hopping Round the World Adventure - Pack 14

File Description:
For the first time ever you get to fly the Boeing MD11 Freighter for a well known package delivery company, the 757 and the Embraer 120 (see readme for files). Download em to fly em. With a little bit of gambling in Vegas, partying it up accross the border Tijuana, relaxing in the cool climes of San Diego, star searching in LA, not leaving your heart in San Francisco and of course a visit to Reno what else can you expect from living it up with a plane load of high rollers. Still got to fly baby! 23,787 miles logged so far.
