"Nessie" at Loch Ness, Scotland. The fabled sea monster has been sighted again in the Loch Ness! This scenery displays "Nessie" and possibly one of her offspring along with two animated AI fishing vessels which travel about Loch Ness. Be sure to bring along your camera! Tested in the default FS2004 setting only but will likely work with any enhancement of the area which does not alter the shorelines too drastically. File Description:
Abbreviated Brake and Overspeed Messages. If you find the red reminder messages about Brakes and Overspeed intrusive, this package contains revised language.dlls which will abbreviate these messages and/or remove the Overspeed message entirely. These files are an expansion of the modifications originally done in 2005 by Brent Hricziscse - braketext.zip. That file is not required. This file modification will ONLY work with the ENGLISH version of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004. Please unzip to a temporary folder and follow the very easy instructions.

Adding NAV and ADF Radio Tuners - an Illustrated Tutorial. This very brief Tutorial will show you how to add these navigational devices to virtually any aircraft - as a popup window. This is something you may wish to apply to Vintage craft as they seldom are so equipped. The default Piper Cub, which comes with a "handheld" radio, is used in the tutorial to demonstrate the concept. Only stock FS2004 gauges and radios are used so nothing else is required. Please unzip (using folders option) to a temporary location. The project was compiled in .doc format by David "Opa" Marshall and is based upon ideas and material provided by Mark Smith. Enjoy!

Adding this little gauge to the panel of your aircraft will allow you to respond to ATC options with your mouse - a very useful alternative to using the keyboard numbers. This brief tutorial shows how to add the ATC DIGIT Gauge by Nick Pike to the default Cessna 172 panel. While this is used to demonstrate the method, the concept can be used on virtually any panel. Although Lee Swordy's indispensible program includes very complete documentation, this tutorial illustrates several of the less obvious things you can do with the program. Topics include creating a quick flatten, decorating the edges of a runway, use of the polygon feature to enhance terrain adjacent to an airport, drawing "roads", creating invisible taxiways, moving or removing the Helicopter "H" and use of the "jump here" command.
