File Description: The Bell X-1 was the first aircraft to break the sound barrier, a feat which it accomplished on the 14th October 1947 by reaching a speed of Mach 1.06 at an altitude of 43,000 feet.
This model was created using FSDS 3.0 and features all animated control surfaces, undercarriage, suspension, and reflective textures.
Flight Dynamics were done by Bob Chicilo who also added an afterburner effect and smoke.

File Description: This is an old F-15 panel I modified to work in FS2004. It can be used for any two engined fighter aircraft. This panel came with an F-15C by Chuck Dome. I don't know for 'sure' if he is the author of the panel. I tried to e-mail him, but he must have changed his e-mail.

File Description: Description: This aircraft is a composite of three textures from the alpasim F-8 E Crusader. I reworked the air and aircraft.cfg files so that it now flys more like the real one. It will now reach maximim speed. I added an afterburner and put in an F-86 panel that I made a few changes to.

File Description: This is an update of the F4U-1A Corsair that came with FS2002. I have redone the flight dynamics and added nav lights. As I always do my updates in FS2004, there should be no problem running it in 2004. To make it smaller and easier to upload, or download, I have aliased the sound to the Ford Trimotor. I don't think the sounds that came with it are much like the real aircraft anyway.

File Description: This pdf file is for people who want to learn, or learn more, about updating the flight dynamics of FS2004 aircraft. It won't tell you everything, but it will tell you some things the majority of flight simmers don't know about updating flight dynamics.

File Description: This is an update for Mike Stone's Javelin. I have added afterburner effects, smoke effects, and updated the flight dynamics. I don't know if Mr. Stone has it right in his readme file where he says the afterburners do not work below 10,000 ft. But I did come across the information that if they were turned on below 20,000 ft. they actually reduced thrust and, of course, increased fuel flow.

File Description: Using the reinforced airframe of the F-101C, the RF-101C first flew on 12 July 1957, entering service in 1958. Like the RF-101A, the RF-101C had six cameras in place of radar and cannons in the reshaped nose. Unlike the RF-101A, the RF-101C retained the ability to carry a single nuclear weapon on the centerline pylon. 166 RF-101Cs were built, including 96 originally scheduled to be F-101C fighter-bombers.

File Description: This is an older model Alphasim mig-21 K in Russian colors. It is for fs2002 or fs2004. I did the usual upgrades, lights, afterburner, panel, better flight envelope. This is a complete aircraft, but with the usual faults Alphasim adds before putting it on their free downloads page. I corrected what I could. It looks and flys OK.

File Description: This is an update for the P-51D Mustang by J. E. Narcizo. I have redone the flight dynamics and added a view section to the panel.cfg file so it has better forward visibility, and a digital trim gauge. You won't see the trim gauge unless you have one of my previous updates that has it included, or someone else's aircraft that has it.
