File Description: [Version 1.1 adds thumbnail images and proper installation instructions for users of Sbuilder. If you have installed the previous version of this object library and are not using Sbuilder to place objects in your scenery, you do not need to install version 1.1.]
You'll finally have a place to get one of those $150 hamburgers when you arrive at your destination. This is a collection of Gmax restaurant scenery objects for use with FS9. They are intended for smaller airports that don't have the usual food court inside the terminal building. Some of the restaurants have an aviation theme, some don't. Most of them are also available with the signage removed so you can use them as small terminal buildings or whatever else you want. Also included are some outdoor chairs, tables and table umbrellas, and a variety of vending machines. Should work with just about any payware or freeware program that is able to place scenery library objects in FS9, including RWY12, Instant Scenery, EZ-Scenery, Airport Design Editor, etc.

File Description: [Version 2 adds specific compatibility with RWY12, ADE9X, and Sbuilder 2.05. If you have already installed the previous version of this library and are NOT using one of these programs to place scenery objects, you do not need to download and install V2.] Many scenery making programs for FS9 give us access to the default terminal buildings in the FS9 libraries. Unfortunately the FS9 libraries are completely unorganized, so finding a specific shape and color of building can be time consuming. Also, many of the terminal buildings are too distinctive in appearance to be of much use to someone who is looking for simple shapes to use as "building blocks" to create their own terminals. I went through most of the FS9 scenery libraries that contain terminal buildings and chose a representative sampling of simple shapes in the various textures that are available, and compiled these into a scenery object library. This makes it easier to find, say, a two story, T-shaped, yellow textured terminal building. These are not new objects, they are default scenery objects created and owned by Microsoft. I'm simply providing a more convenient way to use them. Previous version had 9300(!) downloads.

File Description: This is a collection of concrete curbs and barriers of the sort that you would find most anywhere there are motor vehicles. Perfect for that parking area next to your terminal building. This is a standard FS9 object library and can be used with EZ-Scenery or any other program that allows you to place such objects in your FS9 scenery. Created using Gmax.

File Description: A collection of terminal buildings suitable for small to very small airports. Also includes a set of the smaller buildings signed as "Customs". All with night lighting. The + version adds specific compatibility with RWY12, ADE9X, and Sbuilder 2.05. If you have already installed the previous version of this library and are NOT using one of these programs to place scenery objects, you do not need to download and install the + version. The + version also includes the updated textures from SS_Textures_update_1.zip. Installing the + version should not affect any scenery made using objects from V1.

File Description: These are rudimentary gmax objects which may serve as starting points for other designers. You will need to have the gmax FS2004 gamepack installed to modify these, and have a basic knowledge of gmax. Placement of the objects requires knowledge of XML. Objects: boats, boat cradle, fences, intercity bus, park benches, information kiosk, marine lights, a variety of light poles, school bus, security booth with transparent windows, a portable building with deck and coke machine, a tree planter and a simple zodiac water craft.
These objects were created for the Ogden Point Terminal/Camel Point Heliport scenery vicenh04.zip By Jon Patch.
