| North Cascades Bush Airstrips 4 |
|
File Description:
A final four airstrips in the North Cascades. I designed these mainly for my own entertainment, and the scenery is VERY basic - as you can tell from the file size - they're probably of interest only to 'fans' of my previous three North Cascades releases...and the small number of them still using FS9.

| Khutzeymateen Bush Airstrips |
|
File Description:
This scenery contains 22 fictive short airfields distributed in the wilderness of the Khutzeymateen area/BC.
It's a compilation of selected dirtstrips based on the "Kwinamass Khutzeymateen Bush" sceneries Douglas Keech made some years ago.
Theses strips now strongly match with today's FSX and Orbx/Pacific Fjords software.
I have the written permission of the author for a publication.

| Big Cypress Swamp Airstrips |
|
File Description:
A package of 3 'bush-style' airstrips set in Big Cypress National Preserve, Florida - something of a rare destination for most FS2002 bush pilots! They're not to
be confused with the nearby 5600ft paved runway owned by the Seminole Indian tribe: these are all just very rudimentary dirt or grass strips in the middle of a
swamp. The airstrips do exist in reality, however based on recent satellite imagery I think they're now disused. A second cluster of Big Cypress airstrips can be found further south (across Alligator Alley) although these being very slightly more developed are part of the default FS2002 scenery library.

| North Cascades Landscape Enhancements for Vancouver+ |
|
File Description:
This is a re-issue of my previously published landscape enhancement package for the North Cascades of northwestern Washington State, us_wa_nc.zip. These files have been edited and adjusted to be fully compatible with FSAddon's "Vancouver+ Part1" product and can be used with or without FlightOne's Ultimate Terrain USA or Canada/Alaska installed. Also included are batch files to remove incompatible flatten files from Richard Goldstein's Georender 4 "Darrington Muni", published by LAGO. Please note: don't use this package unless you have a registered copy of "Vancouver+" by FSAddon!!!

| Alaska/BC Bush Scenery: Edgecombe Lodge, Johnny Mountain Mine, & Bob Quinn Lake |
|
File Description:
My fourth bush scenery in Alaska/British Columbia. This package includes three airstrips: the first runway at Edgecombe Lodge has an unusual inclined profile, located precariously across a ridgeline on Annette Island near Ketchikan. I've also put together a tailor-made NDB Instrument Approach plate for it. The other two, Johnny Mountain Mine and Bob Quinn Lake, are hazardous real-life airstrips along the Iskut River in BC (about 50 miles north of Ketchikan). Includes AFCAD files for FS2004 and FS2002. Although I have modified the terrain to create the runways, Eddie Denney's FS2002 mesh of Alaska is still required as a foundation for this scenery to work. Also requires Gerrish Gray's Tree Library (release 3).

| Airstrips of North-East Germany |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
Moving towards completing my Airstrips of Western Europe project, herewith 50+ sceneries for smaller airfields in NE Germany, that I haven't included in my previous uploads, each enhanced with taxiways, parking spaces, buildings etc. and aprons as appropriate, to further facilitate the generation of lightweight AI traffic in the area, without overloading the more major airfields. If you have my "German Airstrips" folder from my previous uploads, these are in addition to that and the folders can be merged. Any apparent duplicates will be (minor) updates and can be over-written.
Again, there's no photo-realism here, just a selection of basic 'generic' buildings, more or less accurately sized and placed to reflect the airfield layout as seen on on-line satellite imagery and aerial photography. These buildings have minimal effect on frame-rates, so are ideal for this kind of job. The airfields are aligned as well as possible with the roads etc. in UT Europe and the Genesis Europe mesh, but should mostly be fine in a default installation or other configuration.
As before, the files for each airfield can be easily identified by the ICAO code, even if the airfield names vary slightly, so you can pick and choose and mix and match to suit any sceneries you already have, should you so wish. There is no requirement for any other download. Each airfield will exist as a stand-alone entity should you only want a few of them.
Very few basic library objects are used ... you can add "eye-candy" to suit your own taste should you wish, or just leave them as vague shapes in the scenery that can put a few more small aircraft into the air. As with other airfields in this series, now these are "ai-activated" you can expect to see the occasional little aircraft turn up at some of them if you've got any third-party traffic installed.
Please read the rest of this "blurb" in the enclosed text file ... there may be some details of interest.
