File Description: Bear Creek Winery & Lodging
Alaska Bush Scenery For FS2004
This scenery was derived from an actual Winery in Homer, Alaska. The scenery features
Winery Suites overlooking Glacier and Kachemak Bay Views. The main Bear Creek Lodge
sits just up from the suites along side the Winery & Vineyard. Random deer wander about'
the area, as Lago FSE sounds and objects dress up the area even more. The Vineyard
features and interchangeable season BGL files to show the hearth of grapes in different
seasons, and features a water sprinkler system for the Vineyard. An easy to read PDF
install guide is included with pictorials. Email address is in the install guide if you
have any questions....Enjoy!!! Airport Code: BCWL

File Description: Here's the 4th edition of my "Crossing North America" adventure and we are still working our way around in Alaska. The 10 flightplan-adventures included with package #4 begin at Cordova in Prince William Sound, then we travel up and deep into the Klondike region of east central Alaska. We end our adventures at Hoonah, AK just south of the Glacier Bay National Park. Our journey will have had us crossing the Wrangell mountains (twice) and viewing some of Alaska's most dramatically beautiful areas the state has to offer. The next package (#5) will be the final one for Alaska, as it will tour the Southeast part of the state, including the Capital of Juneau. Ironically, it is the capital of Alaska that is the only state capital you cannot drive to, as the only way you can reach Juneau is either by boat or plane. Package #6 will begin our tour of Canada, starting with the Yukon! Packages 1-4 have now totaled 4,678 miles flown, using 34 different aircraft!
With this package #4, the aircraft used are as follows:
default Caravan & KingAir,
Piaggio P-166 turboprop twin,
Cherokee 180,
Cessna 150,
Maule M-760 Amphibian,
Sikorsky S-39,
McDonnell-Douglas MD500E helicopter,
Piper Tri-pacer,
Pilatus PC-12,
Enjoy!

File Description: Excursion Inlet is in Alaska and in the area covered by Holger Sandmann's scenery called "Glacier Bay" which you will need to have already installed. It might work with just Ultimate Terrain, but then there will be no float base in the same inlet (nicely modelled by Holger and the team) which from the air is pushed off to one side (as a significant landmark, not literally!) by a large cannery which has been there since 1908. And rebuilt several times, I hasten to add, so don't think you're getting a museum piece here. And the only thing nearby that looms larger than the cannery is nature; lots of water, mountains, and trees. For me to start this Holger's scenery had to be there, so without it you won't get the same result.

File Description: Version 3.0! Seven fictional seaplane bases with helicopter support (three new from v2.0) located south of Juneau, Alaska. Scenery completely redesigned in Gmax for compatible use with Glacier Bay v2, Tongas Fjords, and Misty Fjords by Holger Sandman. All but one spot included one or more helipads, and are intended for cargo distribution and supplies, these seven AKR Stations were also intended to serve as tourism spots for hunting, fishing, skiing, camping, etc. Just fun little spots to hop in a floatplane. No AI traffic in this version, however afcads do accommodate for ai traffic.
All Objects fully designed and completely redone using higher resolution 32bit textures. Optional DXT textures included. Also includes new AFCAD files, animated hangar doors. No AI traffic tracks included with this release, but AFCAD designed to support AI. This v3.0 package is a Full Install (w/ effect file).

File Description: Glacier Bay v2 is a complete replacement of the default FS2004 landscape and scenery of more than 90,000 square kilometers (36,000 sq miles) of Southeast Alaska and adjacent areas of Yukon and British Columbia. File 1 of 2 (also requires glbayv2b.zip)
Landscape enhancements include high-resolution terrain mesh, detailed shorelines, rivers, lakes, and glaciers, and accurate land cover data with custom seasonal ground textures. Inland water bodies can be made to "freeze over" via an on/off switch. Other landmarks include the settlements of Juneau, Haines, Skagway, Yakutat, Atlin, and Carcross as well as road and railroad networks, cabins, lodges, and lighthouses. We modeled or enhanced 16 main airfields (plus one fictitious airstrip), 20 unlisted airstrips, 16 seaplane bases, and seven heliports. We've also included AI ship traffic in various locations as well as optional flightplans for GA and floatplane AI traffic.
Glacier Bay v2 is fully compatible with other third-party add-ons, including terrain mesh (FSGlobal, FS Genesis, etc.), ground textures (Ground Environment, BEV, FScene, etc.), and landscape enhancements (Ultimate Terrain Canada/Alaska, Misty Fjords, Tongass Fjords, Freight Dogs). A configurator panel (requires .Net Framework!) allows users to set compatibility options and to choose levels of scenery detail. We provide an autoinstaller and detailed documentation with a sectional map of the coverage area and a list of weblinks to real-world information.
For feedback and questions, please visit the Glacier Bay v2 support forum at http://forums.fsaddon.eu/viewforum.php?f=10. This project is a collaboration of nine FS developers from Germany, Austria, USA, and Canada, logging more than 1000 hours of work over the past 14 months. We acknowledge the kind support of FSAddon.com. However, this project is independent of any commercial company or product. Enjoy!

File Description: Add-on meshes can greatly improve the detail of the FS terrain but often conflict with the inaccurate placement of the other default FS landscape elements, particularly in coastal and mountainous areas. This project showcases new methods and software that allow for semi-automated development of FS landscapes from accurate source data. The files completely replace the default FS landscape of Southeast Alaska's Glacier Bay National Park and the adjacent Lynn Canal area between Juneau and Skagway (N58-60 W134-138), including shorelines, islands, and lakes, as well as glaciers, landclass, man-made features, and a LOD9 (76-m) terrain mesh. Optional AI floatplane traffic at four seaplane bases is included. A LOD10 (38-m) mesh of the same area is available as a separate optional download. FS2002 users please use fs8glbay.zip instead.
