File Description: This is an update to Keith Hackett's Airspeed Oxford (available in flightsim.com as: civilox.zip or oxford.zip)
I made this because I felt the placement of the Bendix Radio/AP on this aircraft's panel just seemed 'wrong', so this update removes it from both Panel view & Virtual Cockpit view.
In turn it adds the default FS2004 DC-3's Radio stack & Lockheed Vega's Sperry Autopilot, giving the cocokpit a much more 'legitimate' vintage look. Check out the pictures for a preview of what it looks like now!
A special thanks to Keith Hackett for an awesome aircraft!

File Description: This aircraft is a customization, upgrade and optimization of Arik Hohmeyer's fine L10E from FS-Design Berlin. The intent was to match it as closely as possible to Earhart's L10E Lockheed Electra. Dave Bitzer's research at the Smithsonian Institute in Washington, D.C. and independent work by Alex Nicolson resulted in over two-dozen flight-dynamics changes, including proper-capacity long range tanks. Norman Hancock designed two custom panels for this historic aircraft; a classic version with a Sperry AP and a modern one with a digital AP and more navigation equipment. The Cambridge Engine Analyzer, Sextant, Drift Meter, and pop-up E6-B computer are standard on both panels. Easy one-step install.

File Description: B727-227 panel made from hundreds of digital photos. All new gauges. Special sound effects such as air conditioning, altimeter vibrators, and strut compression. Full 2D cockpit views as well as a VFR landing view. Working fire handles and cargo fire detection system. True FS2002 radio, light, and anti-ice controls. FD-108 flight director and Sperry SP-50 autopilot work just like the real thing. Automatic engine smoke effects and taxi speed control. All bitmaps reduced to 8 bit color for quick loading and high frame rates. This is a very specific airline configuration, so no auto throttles or speed control! Simple editing of aircraft configuration files may be required to work properly. Includes instruction manual.

File Description: Here's a Douglas C-42 or better known as a DC-2 including an update
On James Underwood's fs98 panel with a very good rendition of the
Flight instruments of the day. The Sperry Gyro Pilot is used as the main
Horizon attitude instrument on the early airplanes, thought to be reliable
Enough to stand on its own but according to Ernest Gann (Fate is the Hunter)
Did tend to fail at times leaving the flight crew with the basic needle ball and
Airspeed instruments. Later most airlines including KLM supplemented it with
A gyro horizon for the captain’s side.

File Description: From the brilliant original of Jan Visser comes this mild repaint of his DC-2 in American Airlines livery. It is the companion aircraft to Ernest K. Gann's AM 21 flight plan (am21ekg.zip). Contains total surround panel package, including wing views by Robert and Daniel Fall; Ben Wang's AAL 1930s cabin converted to DC-2 by James Underwood (with 30s celebs), pilot's side views and a vintage panel photographed by Joseph Rhensius, Propfreak Productions. Also has authentic Douglas yoke by Mike of AirNikon. Uses Sperry Mark III by Arne Bartels, but also has pop-up default radios and GPS for the lazy. Panel uses ADF only, in keeping with the period, and features gauges by James Undrwood, Ernie Kennedy and Kevin Trinkle. Flies beautifully, with great FPS.

File Description: Requires prior installation of the R4D-6/DC-3 package available from Mid-Atlantic Air Museum Simulations (MAAM-SIM) at www.maam.org. Will not work with the default FS2004 DC-3. These unofficial modifications, in two versions, of the panel supplied for the DC-3 in the MAAM-SIM package are uploaded with their permission. In both versions everything is consolidated on, or is accessible from, the Pilot's panel. Most features are accessible from the VC also. Version 1 replaces the Sperry autopilot with a Bendix autopilot and adds an HSI and RMI to the panel; Version 2 retains the Sperry but replaces the directional gyro with a more contemporary gyro with Heading bug. This panel also has an RMI and a conventional VOR1 gauge. Both panels have several other enhancements including standby radios.

File Description: A 4:3 ratio 2D Panel created for SWingman's Grumman J2F Duck in FSX. There are two configurations. One has the normal Compass and Artificial Horizon Indicators, the other has Sperry Compass Heading Autopilot, Sperry AHI Pitch Autopilot and GPS. Both have new Popup windows for the fuel gauges, pedestal, and radios.
I included some new gauges to allow mouse control of the Battery, Elec Fuel Pump, Magnetos, Engine Primer, and Starter in the Virtual Cockpit.
The 2D instrumentation reflects the VC.

File Description: This aircraft (for FSX, with update-patch #2) is a simulated replica of Maersk Air's 'Pocket Rocket' OY-MBZ (a Boeing 737-2L9 a.k.a. 737-200/Advanced) anno 1989. It is designed for a screen-resolution of 1280x1024. Other resolutions have not been tested. It will NOT work correctly in FS2004 (FS9). It has been tested on Windows XP (32bit) and Windows 7 (64bit) only. It is designed to be as realistic as possible, and flight-experience from the real aircraft, as well as large amounts of documentation, have been used to get it as accurate as possible. It has a fairly advanced panel with many systems simulated, such as a passenger oxygen system, a cabin pressure system, anti-skid brakes, EPR control of each engine (with the possibility of asymmetric thrust), IVSI with TCAS, Sperry SP177 autopilot with working CWS and level-change button, active yaw-damper, Quality-of-flight index (so you can see how well you operate the aircraft), windshield wiper, custom flight-computer, automatic Vspeeds for takeoff and landing, takeoff trim calculator, master caution system, PAX simulator (if you make a mistake they may die), a JT8D-17 engine with slow spin-up time (do not idle it on approach). It features a relatively realistic random-failures/error simulation which will trigger, or de-trigger, any of a variety of possible failures/errors (from small gauge-errors to large engine-failures or cabin de-compression). The chance of a failure/error is very low (you may never even get one, but they can happen, so stay alert), maybe less than 1 percent chance per 24 hours of flight-time. It features engine-management simulation, so overheating an engine will cause it to fail (now you actually need to pay attention to the EGT during engine-startup, and have your finger ready at the fuel-cutoff switch just in case you need to save the engine from heat-damage). It features sounds recorded from the actual aircraft (OY-MBZ).
This is the third release of this JELAIR addon. A very big thank you to all the following very talented people that participated directly or in-directly in the production of this add-on: Original Model by Erick Cantu, Original Panel by Pablo Contouris, Original Panel BMP by Bob Scott, Original Panel Gauges by Ken Mitchell, Doug Dawson, Pierre Fasseaux, SPanel, www.FS2X.com, Original Sound by Christoffer Petersen, Original Textures by Henry William, FDE, various modifications and adjustments for aircraft type, as well as additional gauges and sounds by JELAIR
