1942 USAAF C-46A. This is a further modification of the mod by Terry Jones (ga_c46_tj.zip) of the original aircraft by Libardo Guzman, Tom Gibson and Greg Pepper (c46ga.zip). It features a new photo-based panel design, a new design Radio Range Gauge, AutoRich/AutoLean mixture controls, Controls to automatically raise (and prevent lowering) the flaps based on speed, Improved flight dynamics, Panel switches for the doors, Separate cabin and cockpit lights switches, and Fuel quantity gauges for the rear wing tanks. Included are the appropriate models and textures for a complete FS9 aircraft installation.

Alternate Files for GA C-46 Commando

File Description:
The original release of the C-46 was produced by a team of talented people. As the plane's original creator, these alternate files represent my favorite configuration that I use when flying the plane. Feel free to use these or the original files; mix and match as you like. Contains an updated model file with my original crew, enlarged main wheels and correct landing gear, an edited panel.cfg file including modified view angles to the outside from the crew and passenger positions, and new contact points for the aircraft.cfg file. Requires the original file (c46ga.zip) to be installed first. I hope you like them as much as I do. Please make BACK UPs of your original files so you can use the version you want.

Camba Transportes Aereos Curtiss C-46F Commando

File Description:
FSX/FS2004 Camba Transportes Aereos Curtiss C-46F Commando. Originally designed an airliner (CW-20). The prototype first flew in March 1940 and was extensentively tested before being evaluated by the military, designated C-55. Following the involvement of the USA in World War II, all aircraft produced (3,181 incl. the prototype) were delivered to the USAAF. They particularly gained an impressive reputation flying across 'The Hump' (Himalayas) bringing supplies from India to China. Built a C-46F-1-CU (c/n 22428) at Buffalo, NY, this particular aircraft was delivered to the USAAF as 44-78605 on 16 July 1945. It was sold on 15 May 1946. In July 1996 Camba Transportes Aereos bought the C-46F registered CP-1319. WFU and stored at La Paz from December 2000. These are textures only. You will require Libardo Guzman's great Curtiss C-46 Commando (C46GA.ZIP). It is advised to also download Libardo's alternate files for the Commando (C46GAFIX.ZIP).
