Ireland EIKN Knock Airport

File Description:
Ireland West Airport Knock is a small airport on the West coast of Ireland. The runway is 7,500feet in length and has landed 747's in comfort. In 2010, passenger numbers were almost 600,000. The scenery includes custom buildings, aircrew, default and custom vehicles with specular shine and reflections. It also includes sound effects and some animations. Parts of the scenery can be switched on or off according to user preference. Please enjoy.

KFHR Friday Harbor Photoreal

File Description:
This Scenery consists of the FSX default airport of Friday Harbor, set on photorealistic terrain. Although the scenery has been compiled with night masks, night terrain has been excluded to reduce the file size. It has been designed for Megasceneryearth photorealistic scenery of the San Juan Islands but will also work with the default terrain. Seasonal variations are not included. The main scenery file has been subdivided into several smaller files, which can be switched off according to user preference. Full night textures are included with wash lighting in the terminal and carpark areas. All buildings have been custom modelled using real photographs, and include open hangers with interiors. Next to the fuel station you will find Ernie's Cafe, much loved by resident and visiting pilots. Close to the airport you will find US style houses modelled on real photographs from the San Juan island. Surfaced airport taxiways and aprons have been kept to a minimum to allow the photoreal textures to show through. The scenery also includes sound effects and high definition people, these can be switched off if they place too much strain on your system. Please enjoy, and I hope you like my scenery as much as I enjoyed making it.

Ireland EISG Sligo Airport Updated

File Description:
Ireland EISG Sligo Airport Update. The airport layout has been revised to accommodate static and AI aircraft. The flatten to the south of the airport has been removed and a new carpark has been added. Irish autogen style buildings have been added to the area surrounding the airport and stains have been applied to the apron to give it a more realistic appearance. Please enjoy.

Ireland VFR Trees for Horizon Photographic Scenery Volumes 9 and 10

File Description:
Ireland VFR Trees for Horizon VFR Photographic Scenery Volumes 9 and 10. Created by Autogen annotator and places lots of trees around many of the smaller airports. The file includes full installation instructions and is activated automatically by the underlying bgls. Installation is simple, by following the correct paths. I have also included a reference file for locating each airport using Horizon's grid structure. Please enjoy flying over three dimensional photographic scenery.

Ireland VFR Small Airports Landclass - Update

File Description:
Ireland VFR Small Airports Landclass Files Update. This scenery update is a set of landclass files for my following airports EIKN Knock, EISG Sligo, EICM Galway, Connemara and Aran Islands and Ireland VFR Small Airports part 1. The files have been designed for users of the airports with FSX default scenery and hopefully should remove any errant FSX trees from the runway. The scenery has been tested with default scenery only and does not apply to users of photographic scenery. Simply drop each file into your appropriate Airport scenery folder. Please enjoy.

Ireland VFR Small Airports part 4

File Description:
Ireland VFR Small Airports Part 4. Three new airports for FSX, consisting of EI50 Limetree, EI55 Eyne and EICN Coonagh. Limetree and Eyne are 70km southwest of EIDW Dublin. Coonagh is 16km East of EINN Shannon. These airports have been built from scratch, are standalone, and designed to sit on the default terrain. The scenery features custom runways and textures together with full custom models and textures based on real photographs. The scenery has been tested and authenticated by real local pilots. More realistic landclass, autogen rivers and roads have been added to the areas around the airports. It also features many HD textures, AI aircraft and road traffic. The scenery uses seperate elements which can be switched on or off according to the users preference and hardware. This scenery is real flying 'by the seat of your pants'. There are no lights, navaids, or ILS and runway markings are eaten by the sheep. Full installation instructions, settings, credits, hints and tips can be found in the README file. Please enjoy and I hope you like the airports as much as I enjoyed making them.

Ireland VFR Small Airports part 1

File Description:
Ireland VFR Small Airports Part 1. This scenery includes 5 small airports in Ireland. EIDL Donegal is in the far North West, EIAB Abbeyshrule is located in the centre of Ireland. EIKL Kilkenny is located in the South East and Newcastle can be found on the East coast. EITM is a small grass strip to the north West of Dublin. Donegal and Abbeyshrule have paved runways whilst the others consist of small grass strips. The scenery includes animals, vegetation and rural objects. It also includes sound effects, animations, some high definition people, and aircraft painted using real Irish aircraft photos. Many of the airports include open hangers and buildings modelled from real photographs. Although Donegal is the only one with ILS, full night textures are included for all the airports. Many of the files are stand alone and can be switched on or off according to user preference. The scenery can be used as a standalone, however it also uses objects from my other scenery addons. The scenery has been tested with FSXA only and is designed to complement vfr photographic scenery. It will also work with the FSX default terrain, however all objects have been placed using ordinance survey data and may therefore appear misplaced in the default. Full installation instructions are included in the Readme file. I hope you enjoy using the airports as much as I enjoyed making them.

EIWF Waterford Airport, Ireland

File Description:
EIWF Waterford Airport, Ireland. Waterford Airport is a small regional airport located in the South East of Ireland. The runway is 4,701 feet in length (1,433m) so is only capable of handling GA and small jets. In 2008, Passenger numbers peaked at 144,000 and 29,811 movements were recorded. Aer Arann currently operates a twice daily service to London Southend, 4 flights a week to Luton Airport, services to Manchester and Birmingham, with a seasonal service to Galway and Lorient.

The scenery was designed to be used with vfr photographic scenery but will also work with the default terrain. It includes sound effects, local landmarks, autogen trees and buildings, full night textures, custom buildings with photo textures, custom vehicles, people, aircrew, some animations, vegetation, and the nearby business park. Please enjoy.
