Destination Finder for FS9 v1.1

File Description:
In this program, you enter the ICAO code of your start airport, the distance you wish to fly, and the heading on which you wish to fly. The program will search through all the stock airports in FS9, and will compile a list of airports nearest to your desired destination. For extra flexibility, you can also leave the heading and/or the distance unspecified. Alternatively, the program can now read your aircraft’s position in all versions of FS, and use that as the starting point of the search. You can optionally specify a maximum and/or minimum length for the runway, whether the runway must have an ILS, a maximum elevation for the destination airport, the runway surface (hard or soft or water) and whether the airport should be civil or military or either. The program can be useful for planning your own flight or for drawing up AI flightplans. It is a standalone program, and uses FS9 airport and runway data, but, with that limitation in mind, it can equally be used with other versions of FS. Version 1.1 has a much improved formula for calculating longitude and latitude over longer distances, and is now very accurate over all distances. Version 1.1 also incorporates a number of new features suggested by user feedback. The upgrade is recommended for all users. Needs the .NET Framework 2.0.

Destination Finder for FS9 v1.1 (fixed data file)

File Description:
There was an error in one of the data files used by this program which meant that the program would crash if you started your search at an airport which was below sea level (of which there are 32 in FS9). This new file will overwrite the old file and will solve the problem. If you never start from these airports, then there is no need for you to download this file. The affected airports are: 59CL, 61CL, KBWC, KCLR, KIPL, KNJK, KSAS, KTRM, L06, EHAM, EHLE, EHNP, EHRD, EKAE, EKMN, EKNS, ESA, GPA, HE0B, HEAX, LGEP, LLEY, LLMZ, OIGG, OINJ, OINN, OINR, TM0B, UATG, UB0C, UB0E and URWA.

Random Destination Generator

File Description:
Don't know where to fly to? This little Flash program will pick a random destination for you. You can let it pick a random destination from across the world, or choose a general region first, then let it find a random airport. It also will give you current (real) GMT (UTC) time and date.

Texture Finder Version 0.1b2

File Description:
This program is for scenery designers only. If you use api or asd macros then the program can help to ensure that all the necessary textures are available. Many scenery design programs such as Airport for Windows and FSSC have the facility to transfer required textures into the scenery folder. Other tools do not. Even the tools that do sometimes miss textures. Texture Finder decompiles a scenery bgl (using scdis.exe from Takuya Murakami - available separately) and then identifies the textures used. It can then idenfity and move missing files into the appropriate folder. Identify needed textures which are missing from you systems and also those which are not used. It works only for SCASM based bgls and cannot identify textures for objects from libraries. It requires the latest version of dotNET from Microsoft (version 2). KD_RDF Radio Direction Finder

File Description:
ADF navigation was preceeded by LF receivers with manually swung directional loop antennas. They provided essentially the same information, but required more operator intervention, and had an 180 degree ambiguity as well. This gauge comprises a loop navigation system simulating the manually swung loops of the 1930's. It includes the gauges and documentation to replace the ADF with a simulated manually steered loop antenna for those who may wish to simulate the very early Radio Navigation flights. This gauge can be used in conjunction with the Radio Range add-on. While designed for the DC-3, this gauge can be used with any aircraft from the 1930s era. File Description:
NEW and improved random destination generator with world wide or European destinations only, date, UTC, and random cargo weight output.
