File Description: It has been brought to my attention that the IGS 13 Localizer is set to 111.95 in my original upload of the Active ILS, VHHX (Hong Kong Kai Tak Airport) for FSX. This is not the correct frequency. The correct frequency is 111.90. This update fixes that problem.

File Description: This FSX Airport is more then just an enhanced style Airport. As most know the Approach and Final (VMC) for AI Traffic in FSX is a straight in type landing and does not always consider real world approaches. This is due to the way that the coding is written in FSX and it puts limits on IFR arriving aircraft. At certain airports the AI Traffic will fly directly through a mountain once it is established on Final for a runway. What you will see with my files is a different type approach used for both the way I control AI and User Airplane Traffic in FSX. My AI Aircraft Approach coding system for FSX uses a visual offset approach so AI Traffic does not fly through the mountains but flys the IGS/LDA 13 approach to the Checkerboard. Try your skill flying a Large Heavy Airplane vectored by ATC onto the approach course of the IGS/LDA 13 approach to Kai Tak. Read the text file for all the enhancements added to the FSX VHHX Airport along with a full understanding of how the new Approaches work *** Full set of Freeware Approach Charts included ***

File Description: This is a list of the approaches in FSX, I personally find "not easy to fly". Some of the airports are not standard on FSX and require an add-on installation. The files are available here on avsim. Enjoy and tell me how often you crashed. One recommendation: If you try Kai Tak with the PMDG 747-400, make sure your landing weight is pretty small.

File Description: Highly detailed scenery of Khasab International Airport featuring landclass, ground textures and customs buildings. Situated within an hour flying time from both Muscat and Dubai, it is ideal for short flight with turboprops. The approach comes close to Kai Tak, with a sharp right turn on short final. This is the FSX version, The FS9 version is available separately.

File Description: I have created the next in, The Most Dangerous Airport Mission Series: namely Kai Tak. The missions are a historical nature, both for the airport and the aircraft. The flight is a fictional charter British Airways flight. The Kai Tak airport was rated as the one of the most dangerous airports, due to it's approach, it has a 45° right bank just, before landing on runway 13. The airport was famous for it's approach through, flying through the high raising buildings of Hong Kong, with regular crosswinds, which have created numerous problems for many a pilot. So I decided to put these two together in a mission to be enjoyed as a challenge.
I have created the following 4 options: FSX - Day - Stormy weather;
FSX - Night - Stormy weather;
Online - Day - weather;
Online - Night - weather.
