File Description:
DH89A Dragon Rapide. Original model by Dave Garwood who has very kindly given his kind permission for me to repaint and upload this aircraft. It flies beautifully and sounds incredible. This is a flying promotion for FSHost by Russell Gilbert (Ozzie Yank online) the hosting facility which allows online simmers to use FS2002 or FS2004 at the same time and SEE EACH OTHER and the host to control weather, time of day, number of players etc while guiding players along a predetermined course or random flight.

Bill Lyons Sportsman's Package

File Description:
This is Bill Lyons' excellent Sportsman's Package. It not only contains different versions of the Lyons Sta, but scenery, flights, a Garwood Boat, and a Car! The aircraft.cfg file has been tweaked so that the nav lights appear where they should (this was originally designed for FS2002). I added the handheld radio and a GPS to the plane. With his kind permission, I am uploading here to AvSim to share with others!

Aerostar Super 700 'Spirit of Kai Tak'

File Description:
The Aerostar Super 700 is the World's fastest piston twin aircraft. The "Spirit of Kai Tak" competed in and won the London to Sydney Air Race in March/April 2001. Even though it bore a USA registration, the team actually was based in Hong Kong (hence the dragon livery and name!) At times during the race they were actually recording over 300 knots airspeed! Updated to FS2004 keyframe animation specs with FSDS 2.44 and also updated performance and London/Sydney Air Race flight for FS2004. Uses Beech Baron panel and sounds to reduce size of file.

Cunliffe-Owen Concordia

File Description: In 1945 this little known (and probably unheard of) Southampton engineering works announced the existence of their CONCORDIA medium range 10 seat 'feeder liner' project which put it directly head to head in the same market as the DH104 Dove, the prototype of which had already flown. The advertising publicity of the day described a very desirable, luxurious aircraft with a 1200 mile range. Designed as a DH89A Dragon Rapide replacement, as with the Dove, the operating costs would prove to be at least twice as high but an attractive modern metal airliner with passenger appeal was on offer! In 1947 the first two airframes had been completed and were flying. In addition a production line of six aircraft had been laid down. These included c/n 3 for the Nawab of Bhopal (G-AKBF/VT-CQT) and two for British European Airways. Unfortunately, due to an inadequate market, by the end of the year all work was suspended and the incomplete airframes were scrapped.
