Canadian Pacific Boeing 747-217B Tail Fix

File Description:
Fix for all four of my Canadian Pacific Airlines 747's from Project Opensky. This fixes a error in the tail logo, brought to my attention by an on-the-ball fan (thanks, Tim). Aircraft and base textures by Project Opensky, CP Air livery by Michael Pearson (tj_ap97@msn.com).

File Description: Convair CV-240-3 in Canadian Pacific Air Lines livery of 1953, reg.-id CF-CUV, cn 94, delivered to Continental Airlines October 22, 1948 with registration N90845. Bought by Canadian Pacific Air Lines March 19, 1953. Sold to TOA Airways in February 1964 and registered JA5118. In 1968 withdrawn from use and broken up. Textures and associated model file included only. Requires cv240VBFca18_basepack_010.ZIP. Canadian Pacific Emprees of Italy Boeing 747-200 PW C-FCRE "FIXED"

This is My repaint of CP Air (Emprees of Italy). "redone" for CLS 747-200 PW. This repaint has missing things that I forgot on My other repaint of CP Air. This one has the black nose and the ID # under the left wing, and also has the proper windows on the lift upper deck side of the aircraft. Sorry for the misstake. but the first pic.s did not show this things.This Installs as a tolal new repaint. IF you have my other repaint of CP Air, this one will install as a total seperit paint. File Description:
Edmonton is in central Alberta, Canada. The City Centre airport has had other names (Edmonton Municipal, Blatchford Field) and was the first licensed airfield in Canada, in 1929. The history of aviation in northern Canada would not be complete if Edmonton was not included as a chapter in its own right. Unfortunately progress takes little notice of past glory and CYXD has now been closed and will be "redeveloped", in sharp contrast to the thriving City Centre airport in Toronto. This version for FS9 includes in the AI a 737 of Western Pacific, an airline that became Canadian Airlines in a merger in 1987. So this CYXD is maybe in the middle eighties, or perhaps the middle nineties with a vintage 737 being used for short haul to Calgary for sentimental reasons. Scheduled flights were in fact stopped in 1995, with the field being used for GA, charter flights, and medical evacuations etc since then. I have included many of the surrounding buildings, as the "City Centre Airport" really is surrounded by and part of the neighbourhood.

DH 106 Comet 1 and 2 ver 2.0

File Description: FS2004 DH 106 Comet 1 and 2 ver 2.0. The worlds first jetliner. The Comet 1 entered sevice with BOAC in 1952, initially on the route from London to Johannesburg. This package includes liveries for BOAC, Air France, UAT, Canadian Pacific and RCAF Comet 1's, and BOAC and RAF Comet 2's. Version 2 model by Jens B. Kristensen, sounds by Mike Hambly, Benoit Plamondon and Mark Cranston (Aeromusica). For FS2004, FSX users should download Comet_V20X.zip instead.

Golden CYGE in British Columbia, Canada

File Description:
This airfield is in one of the north-south valleys in the Columbia Mountains (which are part of the Rockies) on the border between BC and Alberta. The town of Golden (population just under 4,000) grew along with the Canadian Pacific Railway and the logging industry, both of which are still the mainstays of the town. Tourism is a more recent development along with the Kicking Horse Mountain Resort, which is only 3 miles to the west of the town. There are occasional flights into CYGE related to the richer echelon of tourist groups for Kicking Horse, particularly at the weekends; three actual such flights are included in the AI. Golden CYGE is immediately to the west of the town beside the Columbia River, with the 4,500 feet of asphalt runway aligned 14-32; right hand circuits for 32. There are no runway lights or landing aids, and no taxiway lights, so this airfield is for daylight use only. There is a helicopter company based on the field (Alpine) and a volunteer search and rescue group, a skydiving operation at the northern end, plus an active club with a long open hangar with a club room. A friendly airfield. The AI helicopter was included in my post of Alma CYTF. The Beaver will not show up unless you have the Aerosoft Beaver installed. I found the other planes without a problem on flightsim or avsim. Due to the surrounding terrain AI aircraft will usually impact high ground before landing and then just show up on their parking spots. A northern wind improves but does not totally solve this.
