File Description: Repaint for the A2A B-17G in the colors of B-17G-40-VE 42-98021, which was given to the RAF in the summer of 1944. 42-98021 became Fortress III HB791 of the Coastal Command's 220 Squadron. It was assigned call letters ZZ-T and flew out of Lagens, Azores for coastal patrols and a bit of sub hunting. Was normally equipped with 12 400lb bombs or 16 250lb depth charges. The cheek guns were removed and the ball turret was replaced with radar, like a 8th AF pathfinder. It was transferred to the 521 Squadron in 31 Aug 1945, where it became the last B-17 used by the RAF before being Struck Off Charge and sold to International Alloys on 11 March 1947.
Repaint by Will "dafraz48" Turner, based on the A2A paintkit, January 2015.
