File Description: Allegheny Airlines was one of several airlines that make up present day American Airlines. Based in Pittsburgh, Allegheny (which also included Lake Central and Mohawk Airlines) changed its name to USAir in 1979 to gain a more national presence following deregulation. Piedmont and PSA were later integrated in the late 80s, and the name was changed to US Airways in 1997. During the America West merger in 2006, one aircraft (N745VJ) was painted in the 1970s Allegheny livery. The titles were changed to "American" with the merger in 2014. This is one of several Retro jets representing former carriers that make up present day American Airlines. Textures only for the great Project Airbus model; the base pack is available here on AVSIM: pa319_basepack_fs9_2014-09-08.zip. Enjoy!
