File Description: Nomads was the last travel club that had it's own aircraft, an all club-class Boeing 727-200 airliner. Dubbed the Flying Clubhouse,it has been reconfigured from 146 seats to 92 business class seats.
Nomads Inc. offered its 5,000 members a choice of about 50 trips a year, ranging from the annual three-week around-the-world adventure to an array of domestic destinations, Caribbean getaways, European hotspots and other overseas travel.
Nomads has filed Chapter 7 bankruptcy with $3,900,798 in assets and $3,917,944 in liabilities in early 2011.
I painted the B738 in the old fashioned "Flying Clubhouse" livery. If you don't mind flying fictional planes it should be a good choice for a around-the-world trip.
