File Description: Changes in magnetic variation have prompted a decision by the Spanish Authorities to change some of the runway designations at Madrid-Barajas. Whilst runways 18L/36R and 18R/36L will remain unaffected, runway 15R/33L will be changed to 14R/32L, and runway 15L/33R will be changed to 14L/32R The Authorities have concluded that 20 September 2012 is the ideal date to carry out this change as it coincides with the AIRAC cycle and with a new certification of the Airport. For use with payware Aerosoft Mega Airport MadridX.
