Christler Flying Services Lockheed 749 Constellation Tanker

File Description:
FS9 textures only for the Lockheed 749 Constellation by Manfred Jahn and Volker Bohme. The textures depict Lockheed C-121A Constellation N9464, ex 48-609 c/n2601, when it was used by Christler Flying Services Inc. It along with four other C-121A Connies, was acquired by Christler Flying Services in May 1970 from the USAF at auction at Davis-Monthan. It was initially used for fire ant control in the U.S. forestry and in 1972 was converted to spraying for budworms in Canada. In 1979 N9464 later become C-GXKO after acquistion by Beaver Air Spray. In 1980 C-GXKO was transferred to Conifair and continued to be used for budworm spraying. After retirement from Conifair in 1984, it then went on to become the well known MATS Constellation owned by Vern Raeburn and then was acquired by a museum in Korea where it is now on permanent display.
