File Description: Volume 24 consists of Stapleford EGSG which is just north of Romford, Essex. Opened in 1933, it was taken over by the RAF in 1938 and finally closed after the war in 1946. It was then re-opened by Herts, & Essex Aero club in 1953 and still flourishes today.
