File Description: Riverton, Wyoming was another major stop-over for Frontier Airlines starting in 1950 with DC-3's for people going from Billings, Montana to Salt Lake City, Utah and points in-between. I discovered this airport flying the Frontier route in my DC-3 and didn't like the looks of it at all! So I fixed it. It has a 8203 ft asphalt runway and a 4800 ft one. The airport was first built in 1937. Today,it averages about 20 aircraft operations a day. (Stats-April 2009) This is airport 5 in the 10 airport series. Get the KPOY scenery to have the AI DC-3's use this airport.
