Howard 500

File Description:
This is a repaint of the Howard 500 Cargo aircraft model by Milton Shupe. Hand painted using PSPX. Repaint is a simple black over aluminum design giving a subtle and classic look to the Howard. No shine alpha channel gives aircraft a sharp look. Requires original Howard 500 and the Cargo update by Milton Shupe.

File Description:
Howard 500 Aircraft.cfg Updates for All FS2002 and FS2004 Versions by Milton Shupe. Pkg incl a text file to replace sections: Flaps, Brakes, and Reference to add realism. This update is required for the Around The World Race 2005. Simply copy paste like sections to your aircraft.cfg's.

Howard 500 Cargo (YV-138CP)

File Description:
This repaint is based on a colombian Howard 400 stored at Eldorado Airport as static display.The Howard 400 shared with the Howard 500 its pressurised fuselage, but had the Lockheed Super Ventura wings and power plant.Only 4 planes were converted to the -400 standard.This classic livery fits good for the the cargo version.Requires "hw5vc4.zip" and "hw5c4.zip".Textures only for the Howard 500 by Milton Shupe, Scott Thomas, Joáo Paz.

File Description:
This livery places the BFU logo in its traditional location on the vertical stabilizer. These are textures ***ONLY*** and are applied to Milton Schupe's's Howard 500, filenames: hw5vc4.zip and upgrade file, hw5c4.zip, available in the Avsim library. Due to the tail repainting, you will also require a model upgrade by filename of: fs9mdls.zip; available from Milton's website: http://www.flightsimonline.com/howard500/Howard500text.htm I wish to thank Milton and the team for presenting the flightsim community with this excellent model and my thanks for his kind permission to repaint it. The Royal New Zealand Air Force had nine Lockheed Lodestar in service for cargo and mail transport.ZK-BVE is today stored at the Museum of Transport and Technology,and is a beautiful example of how a Lockheed twin looked like in the 40's.This repaint is for the cargo version of the Howard 500, and requires the original files "hw5vc4.zip" and "hw5c4.zip".Textures only for the Howard 500 by Milton Shupe, Scott Thomas, Joáo Paz.
