North American P-51D Mustang "La Pistolera"

File Description: Repaint requires A2A Simulations fantastic WOP3 P-51D. "La Pistolera" was delivered to the Royal Australian Air Force in 1950, and from there passed through numerous owners beginning in 1958. From 1961 to 1967, it was kept in open storage, and it wasn't until 1976 that VH-UFO, Australia attempted a restoration with a Rolls-Royce Dart turboprop. In 1995 it returned to the US to World Jet Inc., and a year later was rebuilt as a TF-51D Mustang at Square One Aviation in Chino, CA. Rod Lewis purchased the Mustang in 2006 and named the plane "La Pistolera".
