File Description: These are replacement bgl's and textures to correct the already posted Igloolik CYGT for use with the FSGenesis 76m terrain mesh for northern Canada. I noticed after posting that the PAPI were incorrectly positioned, and after fixing that I went on and updated the windsocks, added the wheeled roller/snow clearer that all gravel fields need in the north, and updated the signage to give the true headings for the runway. This is not stand-alone, and the presumption is that you have already downloaded and installed the previously posted scenery. Installation consists solely of replacing the existing scenery bgl's with the new, and adding the new signage textures.Any comments regarding further corrections that are required would be welcomed.

File Description: These are replacement bgl's to convert five northern Canada fields for use with the FSGenesis 76m terrain mesh for northern Canada. The five are Kivitoo CWFK, Paulatuk CYPC, Qikiqtarjuak CYVM, Rowley Island CWFR, and West Baffin CWFW. These are not stand-alone, and the presumption is that you have already downloaded and installed the previously posted sceneries. This installation consists solely of replacing the existing scenery bgl's with the new. This is the last post of adapted northern airfields (unless more are discovered needing revision) and observations regarding and any further corrections that are required would be welcomed.

File Description: These are replacement bgl's to convert Ivujivik CYIK and Quaqtaq CYHA in Quebec Canada for use with the FSGenesis 76m terrain mesh for northern Canada. I recently discovered this terrain mesh while making a scenery that is, in real life, on the edge of a cliff and cannot understand now why I did not install it before. This is not stand-alone, and presumes that you have already downloaded and installed both previously posted sceneries. The installation consists solely of replacing the existing scenery bgl's with the new. Ivujivik has built a new terminal building since the original scenery post but I have fond "Summer" memories of the old one and stayed with it, shown here in a pic at a surprising time of the year.

File Description: Brevoort airstrip and the BAF-3 radar it serves is on Brevoort Island, off one of the southeastern tips of Baffin Island and 140 miles east of Iqaluit. This scenery includes the BAF-3 buildings on the hilltop and those on the airstrip below, plus the roads connecting them and down to the beach landing area on the rocky coast. This scenery is made for the FSGenesis 76m terrain mesh for northern Canada, and there will be a repost of all my northern Canada airfields to suit this; I cannot think now why I never installed this mesh before. The AI reflects the use of civil airlines for resupply and transportation of personnel. Given the terrain the wind should be from the north so that ai lands using the 02 runway. Landing from the north will involve a terrain clash while take off towards the north will not as the climb out clears the hilltop. The video shows the 600 foot cliff at the runway threshold and an Air Tindi plane on the apron. Cartwright CYCA is on the Labrador coast and has been posted by Flight Ontario as part of their Goose Bay and Labrador Regional Airports sceneries. The nearby LAB-6 radar site is included here, connected to CYCA by an extended road. The site uses the same buildings as Brevoort and Saglek (posted recently) and although I have included them here as separate sceneries the contents can be placed in the same folders as Saglek with a saving in duplicated textures. The textures here are more accurate than Saglek so say yes to over-write; a downloader with personal experience of Brevoort noted that in reality they are lighter.

File Description: These backcountry fields are for use with the FSGenesis 19m mesh of Idaho; they almost certainly do not work without it. The six airfields are a follow-on series to the previous four, ranging from Stanley that has a village and airfield buildings of one sort or another and even a length of asphalt runway, to Bruce Meadows that has two bathrooms. The full list from northwest to southeast is Bruce Meadows U63, Garden Valley U88, Warm Springs Creek 0U1, Stanley 2U7, Graham U45, and Smiley Creek U87. These airfields compensate for the loss of airfield flattens after the removal of AF917150 and AF917160, but there remain some now-unflattened airfields I have not included here, whether for reason of the impossibility of realistically creating it (as in the case of Flying B) or just a total lack of anything interesting about it. There may be some more follow-on fields that are new, to the north of the original four; these six are all to the south. The landclass files either change forested areas, as in Bruce Meadows, or add a village, as in Stanley. Although these are stand-alone, the presumption is that you have already installed the original four for use with the FS Genesis 19m terrain mesh, and there is a correction for Big Creek where I missed spotting a lack of flatten in one area.

File Description: These four backcountry fields are for use with the FSGenesis 19m mesh of Idaho, and are Big Creek, Johnson Creek, Dixie, and Sulphur Creek Ranch. They have been revised to fit and almost certainly do not work without the 19m mesh; a quick comparison with Big Creek before and after demonstrates the difference. I also have Ultimate Terrain installed. The three ingredients of terrain mesh, UT main roads, and UT streams, along with their individual margins of error, very often create conficts of space that make a grass runway impossible to site with it's correct length. Given the choice of turning off roads or streams (the terrain mesh cannot be turned off, obviously) I chose streams; the roads are less obviously incorrect, plus it matters not if roads go uphill while a climbing stream is to be avoided. On that basis the original series is reissued here for use with the 19m terrain mesh, on the presumption that you have already downloaded the original series. There are no textures or AI included as they remain the same as the originals, and the new scenery bgl's replace the originals to get the runways and grass etc in the right positions. There will be follow-on fields that are new, and all of the new ones will be only for the 19m mesh.

File Description: This airfield is in the mountains of Idaho, around 25 miles south of Big Creek U60, which was the second in the series to be posted. Johnson Creek is very regularly used for picnic fly-ins and overnight camping, as can be seen from the number of videos posted. Again, the creek does not appear in FS9 as it is only around 20 feet or so wide, plus within Ultimate Terrain I have streams turned off for the reasons given in the U60 post. The runway is at 4,933 feet ASL, 3,480 feet long, aligned 35-17, and in good condition. The shower facilities are south of the centre of the runway and on the eastern side; as a result planes mostly, but not all, park on the eastern side and towards the south. There are Forest Service workshop buildings on the east side of the runway near the centre. If you have a wind from the south then some AI planes will actually manage to land. I should have mentioned before that these are all made with only the default FS9 mesh, and that I will be reposting them again for use with the FSGenesis 19m mesh.

File Description: If you have 3rd. party scenery for Nepal and/or terrain mesh installed, many of your lakes in FS9 may look like the 'Before' picture you can see in the 'ZipDive'. If your lake at Pokhara (near the airport, VNPK) does look like that, then the bgl file in this download will get it back to ground level. If on the other hand your lake looks flat already, then you don't need this download of course!
