File Description: Delta received its first 717 in 2013, as part of a larger acquisition deal with AirTran. When Southwest bought AirTran, it decided against adding a second aircraft type to its all Boeing 737-fleet. All of AirTran's 717s will be transferred to Delta, who will use the aircraft to reduce dependence on inefficient regional jets and also replace the fleet of DC-9s. Painted on the Stewart Global Aircraft (SGA) model. Enjoy!
