This is a repaint (textures only) for the SPAD VII 1916 by Stuart Green. This texture represnts the SPAD VII B.1537 of Lt James M Child, No 19 Sqn, May 1917. In late April 1917, the black dumb-bell was replaced on No 19 Sqn SPADs by blue, white and red bands and wheel discs in a attempt to facilitate better identification in the air. Child used B.1537 to destroy an Albatross two-seater north-west of Douai on 27 April and to send a Albatross DIII down out of control west of Douai on 25 May. His final tally of eight included three kills is SPADs and five in SE 5a's with No 84 Sqn.
