cfs2/Brewster F2A-2 (Buffalo) #14 Bu No 1419 VF-2 USS Lexington CV-2, 1940 Painted over thicko's F2A-3 Model. Delivered to the CV-2 (with the VF-2) October 25, 1940. The "E" which adornes the sides, is for excellence. The VF-2 of this era was known as the Flying Chiefs. The Flying Chiefs were a squadron of non-coms (Navy Chiefs) pilots. Most all other pilots were commissioned officers. By revev. Enjoy!
